i agree somewhat but, this brings up an interesting issue. black americans aren't purely african. they, like myself and everyone else, are mutts. there isn't just white and black, it is a spectrum. and some "black" people are genetically more caucasian than african even if they identify with the black community.

I'm hardly African. My dad's grandmother was white, my moms grandmother was native american.

I agree. Black people should not be called African Americans. They should just be referred to as Africans when desrcribing black people.
