12/12 from seed day 50....No Sex!!!!

Hey guys Im on day 50 of my first attempt at 12/12 from seed grow. Im under 600 watt light and doing a DWC. The plant is 28 inches tall and has not shown sex yet. I am growing two plants. The other is only 18 inches but showed sex at around 21 days. The plant loogs good and healthy but is this normal to take so long to show sex? What is going on?
 
but 28'' tall it should be budding!!! gotta give it more time what else are you gonna do? what strain?
 
Could you have a light leak? Too much nitrogen for one of the plants? There has to be a reason.

Those are just horns (what I call them) and they can still go either way from here. I have a couple of (what I know to be) Koloko Mist they took 56 days to sex (got one of each) this 56 is after 20 days veg in a 2 liter bottle. My concern in the size after 50 days, at just 28". What strain you got going?? Mine are 7' long, I say long because I tied them down at 3' and made it go horz. Strain has everything to do with length of grow.
 
it is 50 days from the day the seed popped...no veg time...total 12/12....dont know the stain...i think it might be eather blue cheese or northern lights....
 
the less veg. time you give a plant the more it will stretch in flowering and take longer to show sex good luck be patient

I didnt think of a light leak because they are in my garage......but then I remebered I had to store them at a freinds house for a week and the room they were in had a window....It is possible that they were getting more then 12hrs of light....Hmmm how would that affect sexing though if it were only an hour or two of extra light....
 
thanks for all the info guys.....im gonna try dropping it to 13/11 and see if that extra hr of dark does the trick....its still growing good though....really exploded in the last week....

never done 12/12 from seed, but in my experience stretch is strain dependent

GREAT IDEA. THAT WOULD BE MY FIRST TRY.. BUT i propably woulda chopped it up by now tho

dude you need a grow book man, and a new skill set. thats not a preflower.

Those are called stipules, I've heard they are different shape a bit based on sex but I don't think its so obvious you can tell just by stipules.
