yeh its only for 2 autos ,ill be grand. took the dwarf out ,havent seen any sign of growth and was all drupie after its 18hr of light.just stuck it out the back. i hv a northern light auto on the way cant wait for that.im gona veg that under cfls and the put it under the hps.looks like a really nice strain.

i was looking in the local pet shop at the stone for fish tanks, was thinking of useing that its pretty much the same thing....


while were on about it, for the hempy what ratio are you lads useing in coco or soil, are you useing vercumite (spelling) or cat litter....

i was thinking about them fish tank stones, can i use them??? that would be handy. and ovo get the white ones

looks good, have yet too hear a bad report on any northern lights so good choice, yeah don`t be afraid of it because of the height, theres ways round that...

i like your setup, it's kewl.

if you can get into town, hackett's garden shop on capel st had it. might be better to ring them 1st.
you could save a few quid with the mylar, goto a pound shop and you'll get your mylar there, they sell it as Emergency Shelter's for 1.50.
also if you want free nutes, you could make yourself some nettle fertilizer, a few drops of babybio and your away.

Tbh it's only half of what it should be, id get a new bulb pronto if ya wana see some decent bud!

where i agree a bigger light will get bigger buds, when your working with what you can afford the 150whps beats the cfls hands down , and at a guess after the grow is done i`say she`ll upgrade the lights then...

With the autoflowering strains this wont be a big problem. The end buds will not have its full potential but they will still yield enough.

this is not my first grow, i got lovely buds from my 2 lowryder #2 and that was under 65wcfl so im sure the hps will do better.
also i just love to grow weed under any condition

thats in essence what billy was saying, like we put in the time and electric so might aswell be under 600w to get max potential from each plant, but when your just starting its a hell of an outlay to pay for, and after this grow when you do up to a bigger light (and you will) the electric won`t jump up as much as from a standing start if that makes sence too you...

Moi offended NAH !! Was just trying to help. Cannabis grows best between 50 - 75 watts psf. Mandy is a bit of that. It's entirely up to her if she wishes to take my advice on board.

yeh i agree the bigger the better, but heres my plan. i just want my own smoke so i start 2 autos at a time,30 days later do the same and so on all year round. and try have a constant flow.if i was to do that under 400w im sure my eleco bill would be crazy and my room will not cope with the heat either, so this setup is just perfect for me. some might not agree but hay im happy with it.

go on the esb site and start the appliance calculator it`ll tell you too a penny how much it`ll add to your bill, think a 600w hps is 72euro per bill so every two months...

alot cheaper than buying smoke, however you look at it, if you can leave a window opened it will help with the heat but the smell might get you caught if a built up area...

I know you are all here to help me, and trust me i am very greatfull for all this advice and tips im getting, i just cant upgrade what i hav and dont think i ever will,i saved for a while to get what i have and wont be selling any of my budz coz thats against the law lol so ill make do with what i have a i count mysel lucky to have it...only time will tell , anyway only 6 weeks left so we can all look forward to seeing the end result.

oh it wasn`t that long ago i was on here saying how happy i was with my cfl`s...

theres none of us that would sell our weed, but i bet you`ll find a way too upgrade , i did.... maybe not next grow or the one after, but as your intrest grows and experience you`ll want to go bigger and better...

This creamantic is some strain. i was going through my pics and noticed the growth in just 24hr.
1st picture i took on 6th around midnight. 2nd i took last night around the same time i think. look at the difference,ill take another 2morrow night and compare.

Im going to go 50/50 perlite and vercumite ( spelling also haha)
