Can an indoor to outdoor grow work?

It's late in the season up here in Canada so would it be possible to veg 24/7 under grow lights and then put them outside to finish up and if I can how long should they be under? Also the place I'm planning to put them is pretty shaded so will that be a problem? Thanks in advance for any help :)

the more light the better so you wouldnt want them in shade all day or they wont do very good like in direct sunlight. and yes you can bring them in and out but watch out, later in life once they get bigger and are budding moving them can be a pain in the ass.

You can take them outdoors. But harden them first. But you are realy late in season so if they arnt ready to flower now I wouldn't try.

Get them as big as you want them indoors and you can flower outside, you'll have to look at local temps though and make sure you wont have your first frost while you are still flowering. You might not need too much hardening if you are putting it in partial shade but do try and find a spot that will let it get at least 4-5 hours of direct light if possible

Not long of summertime left dood, if you have not started anything yet then i suggest get some Autos.. you will have time to germinate them and get them outdoors with enough of the late summer to get them growing up a little and also.. TIME TO FINISH FLOWERING..

Gotta love Autos for that reason alone..

Happy growing man. :leaf:

I'm planning on growing THC Bomb I got from a friend of mine and the first frost is scheduled for Nov. 5. So if I veg for about two or three weeks and I put them out by the end of August will that be enough time for them to flower or should I just wait till next year?

From seed it will take 2 wks before you have a viable plant, then a wk of veg you'd be lucky to have 3 full nodes. I'd wait you won't get much out of this even if the frost does hold off.

If a fully rooted clone, then I'd give it shot.
