BTW, did you know the traditional Zulu warriors stabbing spear, called an Assegai is so named for the sucking sound it makes when withdrawn from an enemy's body?

I did not know that! That's pretty hardcore.
I also learned from a slightly odd teacher in high school that those spears were used in a fairly nasty method of execution: the condemned would have his arms and knees bound, then get lowered anus-first onto an upright assegai. I couldn't help but muse that the name was awful appropriate. Amazing (and a bit barfmaking) how long guys can survive with a blade supporting their weight while cream of entrail dribbled past the shaft. cn

Well, im sure you have all heard of the shooting at the Sikh temple in Wisconsin. This is just another reason why more folks should be carrying. The reason why so many criminals are so brazen today is because they think they are the only ones armed, and no civilian can stop them. We need to stop this way of thinking. You dont know when the next mass shooting could be at your church or in your neighborhood, and YOU could save lives.

At least, if every American would own a Gun & take some good shooting sessions. Guy's like James Holmes & the Wisconsin dude would have been gun down by Self-defending victims. Owning a gun doesn't guarantee you will use it properly Take lessons from pros & remember to consider safety seriously when manipulating guns. My favorite Gun is a Smith & Wesson model 500 .50cal
