I want it to look like a tree that used to be in my grandma's yard...so I don't want it to come off as dark and gloomy...and it's gonna be a full back piece so...i'm super nervous lol. If it gets fucked up you know...it's like...my entire friggin back...

I do love being able to just buzz something on me when I get the whim though...I love the process...it takes away a lot of the relaxation factor when I do it to myself at home though...
but I love love love to get tattoos...and am too broke to pay someone else...so it seemed like a perfect learning opportunity...What I need to get is some super cheap ink that fades out after a few months...that way if I do anything heinous I know I won't have to look at it long...
You could omit the ink, or use something that fades in sunlight ... there must be a product like that ... or you could be its inventor. For the folks who are into the process more than the result. cn

Sometimes I tattoo with invisible ink. Its expensive, but it only shows up if youre under a blacklight.

I've heard of that ink but I've heard a lot of people's skin reject the ink or some shit like that.
Yea I always warn ppl about that before I do it. Its expensive, I charge $40 minimum, so basically its double the price of a normal tatt. I dont care if your getting 3 dots on your hand. And touch ups are also $40 each.. the ink is pretty pricey.

I like this: three different things going on ... steampunk, sleleton, tribal/aboriginal.

And this is pretty cool ...

But I only see white tats online, with a few exceptions like this rather dedicated youngster. cn

Well see i'm super pale....so i'm not sure if the black contrast will look awesome or terrible lol.
She got hers in a brownish tone that looks great..super great, because she like me has red hair and freckles and the black would have stood out too much, but hers is in like a light auburn color...it's super awesome.

I have a few outlines done in the UV ink...
The UV colors would be good for practicing as well because they look like they are there for awhile...just a washed out color, but overtime the ink disappears totally, but you are left with the blacklight sensitive coloring...so Even the colored ones end up invisible over time.
