3 fan leaves per a node

So I just noticed one of my young plants (strain is DNA rocklock) is sprouting an extra fan leaf at each node.

Has anyone here grown out a mutation like this?

It appears the extra leaf/ branch would add an extra 1/3 of what it would normaly produce.

Hoping she survives

I second that I would love to see the plant. You could be on to some Cannabis History here. If you could reproduce seeds of your plant.

I've got a plant just going into flowering that has the same thing. It's not every node though. Some have 2 some have 3 but the thing that weirded me out was when it popped originally with 3 cotyledon

It's the bigger of my plants in the journal below

Sometimes you just get a weird triple leaf plant..it is strange to happen all of a sudden..it usually starts with 3 cotyledons like johnbaked mentioned.

i have had plants that make tiny bits of bud, and also male pollen sacks right at the bottom of the leaf where all the fingers meet..that looks weird.

That's why I think I just noticed it because it started with just the 2 cotyledons.

It's still small working on its 4th node now and I was looking at it like wtf is wrong with this thing doesnt look right then Noticed it has 3 fan leaves coming from its 2 latest nodes and 3 more fan leaves starting to come through now on the next node.

Gonna chuck it into flower in a week probably just to stretch it out and see if it will give a branch for every fan leaf then take a few clones If that's the case

What you have there friend is a polyploid. Clone it in case it's a good one, is my advice.

A polyploid you say. Looks like I have some research to do.

Do you have experience with them? is it going to be suspectible to dying all of a sudden or is this a good trait for a plant to have?
