I drank some Ayahuasca today at 4 pm. and I have recovered fully. I am trying to make sense of the geometrical patterns.. It was so wild, awesome learning experience. It was a huge cluster of numbers and letters making a unknown code, This thread is YOUR opinions on what the code means. Of course it has some kind of relation to DNA.. As the aya fades i feel Im going back to the normal "dumbfounded" me. I believe Its the reason why we usually don't remember our dreams. My heaven is my dreams, I could sleep forever.

Whats your take on the these beautiful drugs called hallucinogens

I can not tell you, I did say at one time, but now with respect for the plant. We got to keep this underground. The US government is already trying to put bans on it.

Where did you find that stuff. It seems like you would have to go to the amazon to get that stuff.

I hate to tell you this, but it is my considered opinion that we get out of it what we bring in with us. I think the analogy to dreams is excellent ... both modes allow us to access ordinarily shuttered compartments of our not-conscious selves. I cannot usually explain beauty, but i can always take it in with awe. cn

I need to learn how to use the multi quote thing. I didn't want try pure DMT due to the short trip. I found exactly what I was looking for. And have about half a gallon left. It only takes a cup.

You should hit some DMT. I love mushrooms

yeah that bitch is fine as fuck right? anyways ego death dosent sound to good, self discovery on the other hand..
"Ego death" is one of those terms that the English language makes sound so awful. it's really a transcendence of self. My first full whack of DMT led to a thorough ego-death experience ... it was awesome in the full sense of the word ... exultant fear. Then the quiet no-words awe of reintegration, "repair" as Sasha Shulgin so wisely put it. cn

Your ego makes you, you. My roommate has a HUGE ego, and he could not accept it. His father said do you feel smarter to him and he said "no". I said "it feels like through a open mind and one willingness the possibilities are endless".. I got flamed by them not "the father" but him and other sober friends. My level is different then theirs. Like I said I was using this as a spiritual experience, I found what I was looking for But I studied Aya for months..

I found it crazy that I remember quotes from teachers in grade school about Lucy and the sky of Diamonds, and other things I can not remember. I had a handful of great teachers growing up..It was like they were preparing me for this day.

Research it, fully before doing it. You can not take certain meds for a period of time, mostly anti-depression meds.. I hope the best for you. Its cheap and yields like crazy....

Another question: any one know how to store the Aya. I have alot left and can I mix the MHRB with Syrian Rue? Does it need to be pressure cooked

Multiquote: see that TV-looking thing on the far right lower bit?
Hit that for all the posts you're multiquoting except the last one. Then hit "reply with quote". All the quoted posts will appear, with room in between for directed comment. cn

It turns out that shamanic spiritual experiences from altered states of consciousness and alien abductions are the exact same thing a lot of the time. Shamans would describe agonizingly painful spiritual surgery being done by healers in the spiritual realm. They would use modern equipment like needles and what not, though the shamans know nothing about what westerners call aliens and advanced technology so the shamans called them spears and sticks. Both shamans and western alien abductees talk about a beam of light or a string of light taking them to a big metal ship then performing agonizing procedures on them using a bunch of equipment, and both claim that crystals are planted inside their heads and bodies and used to shed light on certain areas. Aya Shamans believe this to be spiritual healing and learning and westerners believe this to be horrible alien abductions. Shamans believe that they are now healers after going through this ordeal. Those westerners that dont have post dramatic stress disorder from this experience claim to be more creative and intelligent. Both shamans and level minded western abductees claim that these beings give them knowledge and give them books to read while they are in the altered state of consciousness.

I strongly suggest you read the book Supernatural by Graham Hancock, its an amazing book that makes you question reality and its about this stuff.

Personally, I don't believe the codes have anything to do with DNA, but I do believe what we see while tripping is what is happening deep inside our minds. That's why people who are prone to depression and stuff like that are adviced not to take hallucinogens since they will bring out anything. Whether it be the best in you or whether it brings out the worst in you, it WILL bring it out and show you yourself. They're amazing. Personally, DMT has moved up in my ranks of most beloved drugs and is now placed at number one (sorry shrooms).

PRESS RELEASE
International Center for Ethnobotanical Education, Research & Service (ICEERS)

HEADLINE: No evidence of adverse psychiatric or neuropsychological effects found in study of long-term ayahuasca users.

An investigation into the psychiatric and neuropsychological status of long-term ayahuasca users has been conducted by the Human Experimental Neuropsychopharmacology group of Hospital Sant Pau, in collaboration with researchers from several Spanish and Brazilian research centers and the Institute for Applied Amazonian Ethnopsychology (IDEAA), directed by psychiatrist Josep Maria Fábregas. The study’s first author is psychologist José Carlos Bouso, currently a member of the International Center for Ethnobotanical Education, Research & Service (ICEERS).

The study, published by the scientific journal PLOS ONE, found no association between the long-term use of ayahuasca in a religious context and any mental health deficits. The ayahuasca users had higher scores in cognitive tests and lower psychopathological indices compared with the control group.

Ayahuasca is a psychoactive decoction made from the Amazonian plants Banisteriopsis caapi and Psychotria viridis, traditionally used by many Amazonian peoples in their healing and spiritual rituals. It is also extensively used in Brazil as a sacrament in the context of what are called ”ayahuasca churches," in which the use of ayahuasca is a central part of the doctrine. In Brazil, the use of ayahuasca in this context is so well integrated that the Brazilian government has specific laws to protect it. Also in the US, Canada, and the Netherlands, the religious use of ayahuasca by certain churches is legally protected or regulated, and in Peru ayahuasca has been declared a Cultural Heritage of the country. According to a 2010 report of the International Narcotics Control Board of the UN, ayahuasca is not under international control, although it contains the controlled substance DMT. This alkaloid is considered to be principally responsible for ayahuasca’s effects.

Interest in the study of the long-term effects of ayahuasca stems from the international expansion of its use in religious and other contexts.

The Spanish and Brazilian research team evaluated several domains of mental health in 127 ayahuasca users in religious contexts who had been drinking ayahuasca at least twice a month for at least 15 years. They compared these participants with 115 non-users. To confirm the reliability of the results, they repeated the tests one year later. The ayahuasca users showed no personality disorders, and had lower psychopathological indices and better cognitive performance in neuropsychological tests than the non-users. The study concludes that there is “no evidence of psychological maladjustment, mental health deterioration or cognitive impairment in the ayahuasca-using group.” These results are consistent with earlier results obtained by other research groups that had studied smaller samples of users. This is the first study with long-term ayahuasca users that both assessed a sample of this size and replicated the results.

The authors indicate that the study sample was composed of people that have been using ayahuasca for many years, which is a clear sign that they tolerate the ayahuasca well. Future studies should focus specifically on participants that initiate the use of ayahuasca and then stop because of a psychological issue possibly related to its use.
