Stinky-Skunky-Loud Smell

Whats up ppl, i have a question. Does commercial growers use a different technique to get stinky loud smelling buds or does it all comes down to flushing & curing? My reason 4 asking is that one of my friends says that he never cure the bud he sells only what he gnna keep 4 himself, & his weed always stank from across the room, this i know for a fact. So do u think with only a 7-10 day dry that his buds can always stank? Or do u think that he is leaving something out?

There is alot of Factors, certain strains smell more strong, but with a good dry and cure your bud will smell great. My last indoor grow i had a trainwreck that had a aroma of some strong coffee when it dried, jarred it up and the longer it cured the smell got stronger. It smelled like super skunky mixed with coffee....a little nug would stink up my house.

@Faldikar WTF guy? I didnt say "HOW TO DRY & CURE", thats why i am always constantly searching & reading because, when some1 ask simple a simple ass question the ppl thats not really here to help always wanna refer ppl thats tryna learn to the fucking STICKIES, dont get wrong bruh, i've learned a lot from stickies not jus on here (opengrow-thcfarmer-420Mag-cannabisculture-growery-grasscity-thctalk-hightimes-bubbleponics-icmag-) ect,,,, in other words i read stickies all the time, but i've never read sticky on none of the strains iim growing, how about how does AN nutes compare to GreenLeaf nutes that i'm using or even the differences in FF, Roots Organic, Kellogs, Super Soil, or even Mg soils, but grow journals, reports, & ppl's past & present experience/s damn sure can. U prolly the type of dude that gives your friend all ur harvest & then he tells you how much your cut is!! U should read a sticky on that bro. From now dont post in my threads unless u have helpful info or constructive criticism. "Get your Grade 10 guy, its not the way of the road"

If grasscity and all that other shit is so great than take your ass over there. Dont get an attitude because we are trying to direct you to another section of the site where you will get better help. Drying and curing is its own process, thats why it has its own sub-forum.

stinky loud smelling buds! what is loud smelling? very intrigued.

Yes some buds can smell after little to no cure, and he's probably not leaving anything out it may just be strain dependant. Normally to get nice potent smelling herbs is to dry and cure properly, and this can be different from strain to strain, harvest to harvest, and grower to grower.

If you want the smell consistently then you have to grow strains that stink, then you have dry and cure it properly.

HAHAHAHA watch out guys we got an internet tough guy!! Probably some little white kid that watches too many rap videos and thinks hes hard.. Like I said.. if those other sites give such great advice and your not willing to listen to ours, then go to those sites. You are asking a drying and curing question that should have been posted in the drying and curing section. Btw, those little green dots above my avatar didnt get there magically.

drying right.....and curing for quite a while will enhance the smell. It is mostly strain dependent though. Some strains don't smell at all.....and then some just straight smell like a skunk queef.

Your boy is prob drying with the leaves on and trimming it shortly before moving it. It always reeks after trimming, and it saves a lot of time if it's not going to be kept. Not a ton of sense in taking the time needed for a proper cure when it's gonna end up in plastic bags, smoked within days. It's only worth the time to cure if it's staying in jars, sticking around for a while.

Very true, by all means if you're growing for yourself, cure it up! It'll hold that stink and potency all year. If that's not your intention, it's not worth the extra month or three at all.
