Little brown circles

I have one plant and the leaves are starting to get little brown circles in them. It does not look like bugs are getting to it, and I don't see any. So I'm thinking it's a nutrient problem. It's starting to really worry me and I want to do something quick. Any help will be greatly appreciated. And the circles show up In the middle of the leaf and not on the edges.

are u using cfls that are extremely close with a reflector that is too close/ tin foil material? chances are its just being burn like a magnifying glass.. describe ur set up the best u can. materials, temps and all that shindiggy do

It's a grow that is simply just for fun? It is my first time and only planted one and got lucky, it's a female. I'm almost four weeks into flowering and I have 2 t12 fixtures that each hold 2 40w Phillips plant and aquarium bulbs. The lights are real close and actually touching some of the leaves, because I'm trying to maximize light output. But I have also heard that t12s aren't hot enough for them to burn the leaves. And the spots are on more leaves than just the ones touching the lights.

It might be spider mites. You say the spots start at the middle of the leaf, I have spider mites and thats where it started. It could be nute burn, but you say the damage is not at the tip of the leaves, so its probably not nute damage. Spider mites are hard to see with the naked eye. The look like tiny red or black dots, and seem to stay still. Get yourself a 30x or stronger magnifiying glass and take a good look under all the leaves. Look around for thin webs on or around your plants. Hopefully it isn't them bastard spider mites.
Do the spots look anything like these?
