my blueberry was dense as fck too! I have a hard time pinning it, my had a skunky smell almost during flower ad at cut kept a musty but pleasant old skool weed smell. Like the shit my dad used to toke on, the stuff I first used to smoke. Love it, have a few @3 weeks now, but it wont finish, i gotta cut at 6 weeks , sad but it should be okay

Id want regs, not fems. Seems most are only wrangling fems though... Any thoughts?

try it out owl. i grew one before. it was afghan kush ryder. it almost died from a cfl falling onto it, but it didnt grow vertically after that. everything else was the way it was suppose to be, it even had alot of trics. ill see if i can pull up a pic.

All auto's are not fem, just most of them. The original auto's only came in regs. I remember when they dropped.
I have seen people breed to auto's using male auto pollen. offspring were auto's and normal indica/sativa but shoerter flowering time. u have to remember autos are reg's, nothing more than ruderalis,
so you have Sativa(long flowering), Indica(short flowering), and Ruderalis(auto flower) Auto's have their place for some people. Just no way i'd do it again unless i was starting back up and needed a quick harvest. But then again i do good on 12/12 seed.

as I have no experience with them,(and assume I'd be better off 12/12 from seed,or better yet--clones) I'd like to know what all y'all think of autos in general, and if any of you have tried them.

I can handle constructive critisism. I don't get hints well though, so I need it spelled out for me

Yeah, I knew I've seen some out there that have boys in the mix... Just not in the last year or two so much..

And the banks that you can find reg autos listed in, they are constantly sold out.

Which, you'd think they wouldn't be--most cats don't actually keep males in house.. So you'd think that a plant that finished so quick would be a high priority seed renewal.

But I suppose it is in the interest of business to keep things under control...

There is only one reason I would want autos and that would be to flower bomb places in early spring. Throw them out with all the roadside flowers. Should be finished before they start mowing. That or out them out in the public eye. Granted you'll need to seed numerous rounds to get the kind of seed numbers you'd need for that.

Joint doctor is the breeder of the first real auto that had potency. Ruderalis with-out breeding have very low thc, But Lowryder seeds(joint docs company) has a few strains to offer are high quality and on attitude they have em for pick n mix. they only have like six strains i think, but that's because he focuses on strains and i'm sure it's tedious work tryna deal with ruderalis' and all of those pheno's trying to get them back to 100% auto after breeding. thats great to me, but i dont like em for the simple fact i can't really determine how big i want them. they will even flower under 24/0

Ruderalis is basically like breeding with hemp. So yeah you're going to get autoflower... but it's going to be watered down from what you originally bred to. If you're growing for potency, you don't grow auto. It's like going through all the trouble of making your own home brewed beer but making light beer instead of the best stuff you wanted.

Cannabis rewards those who are creative and patient enough to grow out well bred seeds properly without trying to take shortcuts But that's just my personal philosophy my personal needs/goals aren't everyones

BAM! You nailed it voidling, I was gonna say, I never focus on auto's. But I wanna throw a bunch out and get a early years outdoor harvest from the greenhouse. And just have a little extra meds laying around.
