Why are the roots such a pain to get out? So far i really like this system I no longer have problems with leak and don't have hoses running everywhere.

The first time, I had leaks mid bloom. I had to tear everything down, including the plants. Also, you need A LOT of height to grow in the stink bud. All in all, there are just better ways to grow. Right now, I'm growing in 3 and 5 gallon coco pots. Not the growth of hydro but I've never seen a deficiency and I never pH my water. Right now, it's just too easy.

I want to build a RDWC system or buy a Titan Ebb and Flow.

If you can take two cuttings off that plant and still leave 4 bud sites, then you can clone it now.

That is exactly how you should set your ventilation. If you aren't going to seal the room, you'll need a passive intake. Also, I recommend insulated flex for the lights.

Ill give this system a shot this harvest and see how i like it. I have 8 feet in height and going to be running a SoG style grow so id think the plants wont get very tall.

I checked out those insulated ducting and they are very pricey! Ill wait a while and see how my temps are.

I do plan on using Co2 in the room so i guess when the Co2 is running ill have the can-filter shut off.. Can the light fans stay on while co2 is running?

You clone so you can put the clone in 12/12 lights and in 1-3 weeks it will tell you what sex the rest of the plant is. That way your plant will continue to veg under 18/6. Then you can either use your resources for some buds, or toss it out and start fresh.

I tried some feminized seeds recently and I think I'm getting spoiled. In the past month I've thrown out 9 males. It's a crappy feeling to throw all of that time & care is garbage.

I grow from seed because years ago I got infested with Mites, powdery mildew, you name it I got it. I moved my indoor garden to a different building & went to seeds only. Ever since I have no problems. I clone my girls to make cola plants that I don't pinch or scrog. On my main plants I tweak the hell out of 'em.

Adam, you are on the right track. Just grow it. The first one is a mulligan, the second harvest is really good, the third is the bomb. Live & learn my brutha!

o_O hmm i must of missed it.. stuff i was looking at was 50-60 bucks at home depot. ill head there tomorrow or hit up lowes.
