couple questions on advanced nutrients

I'm getting a gram a watt, That's just with good soil, and a longer veg, 60 days. I understand peoples plants might be bigger and get better yield using steroids on there grows, Just like in baseball guys like Barry Bonds, get more home runs. (juicing) and it really is the norm for most growers. Advanced nuts, are just steroids. so if guys want to use them all power to you. But your grows can be just as good with a better taste.. without all the roids.. If your getting a inch a day growth how much more do you want..

Steroids is a friggin' awful analogy and comparing these plants we love to humans is not a good way to get your point across either. We're talking essential elements, air, water, light and photosynthesis. This really can be a simple process but there are those beginners out there who think that playing mad scientist with all their bottles yields better results. It's humorous actually watching these folks fumble through their grows looking to add a bottle of this or a bottle of that to compensate for their incompetence. At the end of the day they're just a little bit poorer and their plants don't look any better.

I don't think its awful at all. just look on the label it say keep out of reach of children.. Who really knows whats in these products. I bet more people have messed up there grows using the prescibed method right on the bottle. If they would test these plants even after they been flushed for 3 weeks you would find trace elements of those additives still in the buds,, Just like Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens got tested for growth hormones weeks after they stopped using them.. and that stuff stays in your system a long time..

I know people think all these additives only stay in the root and leaves and some how the buds don't absorb them.. Now who believes that.. LOL.. Yes this is my opinion, and the shame is they don't need to add them at all. There is a place for good fertilizer, but any commercial farmer does not just start adding fertilizers without first testing his soil. and finding out what his soil needs. In fact in our state they will come out and test your soil free. Y its so the Farmers just don't start giving there fields all this stuff that will affect the whole food chain...


On my own 55 acres where I live the soil supports over 200 Aspen trees per acer some of then are 30 feet some of them are 5 inches plus Oak brush and mountain grass, Now why can't that same soil support a 5 foot tree that I'm growing.. without any of my great ideas to make it better... Of course I have to use common sense. Think I'm going to use Advanced Nuts On my Plants I trow not...

There is a myth in the hydroponic world that adding stuff to your reservoir is the way to get yield. Yield comes from the basics, aeration, airflow, ample lighting, sealing your system/room to keep pathogens out, etc. Once you realize this, everything becomes simple and you can start putting your money where it really makes a difference.

Environment is with out a doubt most important and should be your first investment and priority. I agree as well with, plants will only uptake so much, you can't force feed them more than they need (I guess that would be like the steroid theory)
What I do believe is, you can supplement the plant with nutrients so they can focus energy on flower production, rather than using energy to create what they need. Your giving the plant nutrients that are readily available.

wait your using obvious logic! thats not fair!

while u may not be able to force a plant to feed faster u definitely can make it grow faster and eat more as a result

if u give the plant the same hormones that regulate its growth and make it want to get bushier faster u definitely can make it bigger faster than u would otherwise

and that would make it eat more

only question is whether u can give ur plant those hormones in a cost effective way or not
