5 days in and the stretch is good i think i should have stripped more of the under bush
roots are looking healthy
there is more than enough bud sites
ive spotted a couple of hairs here and there but the camera cant pick them up
cant wait for the heads to start forming

more pics and more bush on day 7. more pistles showing on both strains and they have filled out nicely.
topped off last night with a nute mix of 16ml micro 32ml bloom and 10ml grow for 10l
ph is stable between 5.9 down to 5.7 then the top off takes it back to 5.9
i'm gonna try and leave the water change till the weekend.
not bad for 4 days shame about the runt but its made a bit of space for my fan
i have some ionic boost left from my last grow is it any good for rdwc?

day 8 and i spung a drip on one of the buckets. i got home from work with a half litre of water on the grow tent floor. its been a busy night. unfortunately all i have is silicon sealant until the shops open tomorrow so i did a change out. i'm not sure how long roots can stay out of the water for and i know that silicon needs 4 hours to dry but needs must, i slapped the sili on and gave it an hour.
the inevitable happened the drip continues. alot slower but still there. anyone know how to stop a leek without changing nutes again?

woo hoo bring on the bud show.
if the leak is coming from the gromet i would rip it out and wrap some of that pink plumbers tape around it and bump it back in. i doubt it would be permanent but it just might stop it until you can fix it properly.

i got some of this no nonsense leak stop stuff that i slapped on last night its slowed the drip down but its still there. if it gets any worse then i'll look into a more permanent solution. its down to about 100ml a day which i can cope with .
every day more pistles i will do a photo update later today when the lights come on at 7pm uk time

day 10 of flowering
all is good the leak has gone for the moment on the next water change i am gonna put some more of the leak fix on and hopefully it will last till the end of this grow.
the pics i'm putting up are not the best but at least its helped me and the missus come to the decision that a new camera is on the cards.
i had to stick the carbon filtre on today as the smell was starting to get a bit more noticable
the stretch continues about 2 inch a day
temps are holding at 27c, ppms are at 1400 and water temps are at 24c. i topped off tonight with 10ltr plain water on the next top off i'll add nutes to bring the ppm up using a nifty calculation i found at https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/4387-lucas-formula.html most of the stuff is bollocks like the 5/10 ratio but the add back formula is shit hot and works. all the sites i have read about the formula have said that it is a bloom formula and not meant for more than a 2 week veg at most for well established cuttings. i have grown from seed hence why i used the gh veg formula and now have switched and apart from the leak i think i'm on to a winner. next update in a couple of days

now THATS WHAT I CALL A FUCKING SCROG!!!!! IMO nicest example of a scrog on this forum ive seen so far!!! very good job man!!! just please give us the wet and dry weight before you quit this forum and smoke everyday xD

Cheers canna i will definitely give the report. as for quitting the site for a smoke this place is a treasure trove of info and pics i'm constantly on here looking for new tips and tricks for the next grow.

unfortunately the camera upgrade is going to take a while to save up for. the missus has got her eyes on a £700 one and the bills keep popping up
the roots are still looking good and the water temps are holding 24c
the smell in the tent is getting stronger and i have officially run out of smoke from my last grow. these plants are both said to flower in 56 days. i hate having to spend a £20 on 2 measely gramm of damp weed
hopefully the stretch will slow over the next couple of days and the bud porn may start properly.

done an add back today over the last 3 days they have drunk 30 litres of water the thirsty buggers.
on the add back i added 40ml of micro and 80ml of bloom, the water level is higher than normal by a couple of litres a couple of hours and ppms will be back up.
the stretch has been massive and i need it to slow the fuck down i have about 2 foot of space left and i wouldn't mind keeping some for the light to hang
both of these strains are loving the lucas even the midget. perfect green and the buds are coming out to play
a couple of curled leafs meaning heat stress so i raised the light to its highest point. next grow i'm upgrading the extractor to 6 inch.

nothing much to report its a sort of limbo time between when you first see the pistles and when you see the buds forming. they are starting to ball up on the tips

change out tonight. new water 120litre 240 micro 480 bloom i added a half dose of ionic boost 60ml
looking green a bud like i'm gonna give it two weeks then add some pk13/14.
the star bitches on the right are still growing up and i'm probably gonna have to bend it out the way of the light soon. 5 foot and rising.

i'm having to wire tie all the taller sites to keep them under the light. just after the last update i also super cropped the very tallest 4 its a bit extreme for 3 weeks in but needs must and i'm an experimenting sort of person. they have stayed bent but have healed up nicely.
next grow im gonna leave the mesh off until i've started to flower i might be able to keep a bit of control
coming up to halfway through flower according to the packets. a bit messy but i'm really happy with dwc

its getting sticky
i'm not sure when to pk i've never used it before and i'm probably second guessing myself, i was going to add it next wednesday the start of week 6 of an 8 week strain anyone give a clue if this is right.

i added pk 13/14 yesterday i'm gonna leave it till sunday and then do a change out
the buds are starting to fatten up.
next grow has been started. going organic for some tastey buds for christmas. new addition is O.G Kush which has come out first. i'm trying canna's biocanna soil i got 50l and 20l of perlite. its a really damp soil. nutes are the biobizz range
i added pk 13/14 yesterday i'm gonna leave it till sunday and then do a change out
the buds are starting to fatten up.

had a little accident today with the fan whilst taking photo's. gave it a nudge, gravity took hold and it landed on one of the feed pipes, its amazing how much damage 10 litres of water can do. i'm gonna have to paint the ceiling of the floor below before the next inspection. oops
just over 2 weeks until due date. not sure what the pk did and i'm probably not going to use it again. i'm gonna stick with the regular boost additives less messing around.
the trichs are massing up and starting to cloud up especially on the stars. the big bud has fatter buds. i know alot can happen in 2 weeks but these look like they will be closer to 3 maybe more.
