I have a decent number of places that I like to eat at, but for the sake of ease I'll just mention my favorite Chinese food. In the po-dunk college town of Corvallis Oregon is a small place called "China Blue". So good. They have a mix of traditional and contemporary foods. The best thing on the menu, and something you must try if for some reason you are ever there, is the Hazelnut Chicken...mouth watering. Their sweet and sour sauce is also the best I've had, but if you can only get one, go hazelnut.
There is also a surprisingly awesome Thai food place in the even more po-dunk town of Philomath to the west of Corvallis called "The Woodsman", pretty damn good, but I would take China Blue over that place any day.
On a slightly different note. If you're ever in a steak house or wherever (in America) and they try to lie to you and say they have Kobe beef, make sure you don't get suckered into paying the higher price for the Faux-be beef. It is against the law in America to import beef products from Japan, and has been for quite some time, therefore unless you were in Japan...or a country where Japanese beef imports are legal, you have probably never actually had Kobe beef. I got suckered myself one time a while ago before I knew this fact. Also, while we're discussing Kobe beef, there is better beef to be had in Japan, and there is comparable if not better stuff in America.
