how much light in there?
The best weed I have ever smoked was seeded......It does not take the potency away from the buds to produce seeds.....that is horse shit.....If anything it creates more trichomes in order to protect the seeds within the buds......Seeded bud is good.Yea but...I want quality smoke, and I will not get that with seeds in my buds . I have no weed, so this grow is supposed to supply me with that. If I had weed already, it would definitely be a great idea tho sean! Could I possibly just brush pollen on only one plant and not have to worry about the others getting seeded? Of course they might catch a little pollen from the brushed plant considering the air is circulating in there, but maybe not much? If not...I'll probably throw it in a cardboard box and put it in veg until I decide to breed. It grew amazingly well and had no issues during veg.
Rather plan a well thought out grow specifically designed for breeding in a separate area. This grow is for smoke.Thats why u do it to branches that will be popcorn. =P

And what does weight have to do with quality again?? Oh nothing? I thought so.Fresno, if you reread what I wrote, you will see that I said nothing about potency, but that I wanted a higher quality bud. It is not known whether sinsemilla is truly more potent or not, but seeds do significantly reduce bud weight, and there is a legitimate theory that cannabinod production takes a back seat when the plant focuses energy on the production of seeds. I also hate picking seeds from my bud. This is the way I like to smoke, so this is the way I will grow.
"What actually happens when a pistillate plant remains unfertilized for its entire life and how this ultimately affects the cannabinoid (class of molecules found only in Cannabis) and terpene (a class of aromatic organic compounds) levels remains a mystery. It is assumed, how ever, that seeding cuts the life of the plant short and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol the major psychoactive compound in Cannabis) does not have enough time to accumulate.
Hormonal changes associated with seeding definitely affect all metabolic processes within the plant including cannabinoid biosynthesis. The exact nature of these changes is unknown but probably involves imbalance in the enzymatic systems controlling cannabinoid production. Upon fertilization the plants energies are channeled into seed production instead of increased resin production.
Sinsemilla plants continue to produce new floral clusters until late fall, while seeded plants cease floral production. It is also suspected that capitate-stalked trichome production might cease when the calyx is fertilized. If this is the case, then sinsemilla may be higher in THC because of uninterrupted floral growth, trichome formation and cannabinoid production..." - http://www.greenmanspage.com/guides/botany.html

When cannabis goes to seed, the usable bud portion drops by more than a third.
After the stem is removed, only 32% of the remaining weight is bud.

Why ask a question and answer it for yourself? Why say anything if you don't care what I have to say? Thought that was the point of going to a thread someone started in the first place. So....what is your point of being here again? And what does weight have to do with quality again?? Oh nothing? I thought so.
Since when did I say I think you should pollinate your crop? Oh I never did? Thought so.Why ask a question and answer it for yourself? Why say anything if you don't care what I have to say? Weight has a lot to do with quality when I consider the most desirable trait to be the most bud for my time. I don't want a 30% reduction in my crop just because other people think I should make seeds. Assuming potency is the same growing with seeds (which is highly arguable), why would I grow seeded bud at a reduction in crop, rather than grow the most bud I can to have smoke for as long as possible? Doesn't sound like quality from the perspective of someone looking for as much smokeable bud as possible... and at the end of the day I am growing for ME, not for you. So it really doesn't matter what that best bud you smoked is, your opinion is irrelevant. If you have a problem with that, feel free to unsub. I won't mind, promise.
True. But there's something about unwarranted disrespect that makes me want to tell somebody about themselves...that's just the way I am. It's much easier for people to STFU if they don't have anything nice to say, just like their mama should have taught them! I'm obliged to remind.ignore feature is bomb..
just sayin' ...
There were other people convincing me to pollinate before you came into the thread, so take your own advice about not making assumptions. As for being in a rage lol, child please. Cursing doesn't = anger, it means that I have no respect for you.You see in the top quote that you were insinuating that somebody(probably I) was suggesting that you pollinate your crop......Maybe you should think back on what you typed previously before you type out of rage next time
