should i harvest now ..?? hairs are about 50-60 % amber , & its day 74 or 75 .... i just noticed these this morning ...i have no idea how theye got there ,, its totally dark during lights off & she is my only one ,,, so no males were around ,,, hmmmm weird

I've heard this. I forgot how it's called. But Females can pollinate them selves.

hermies show up late allot of times, its so late i don't think you have to worry, their isn't enough time left for the seeds really to develop just cut em off or harvest in the next week or so

I just posted a thread basically identical.. they are nanners / bananas and they show up when a plant is stressed, basically a survival method to continue the species.. My question was whether to cut early too your a little farther ahead then me, I'm going to let mine go a week or so more. I'd suggest doing the same unless you see them opening and actually exposing pollen which could ruin your other "sensi" plants if you have any others..

I suppose that could be. It would mean you are probably going to get mold anyway, I am sure anyone in AUstralia would probably agree with you, or anywhere where high humidity is common. MissMindy said she lived by Detroit. VV

no, but getting them wet and keeping them wet might cause them to get mold after awhile...

Sorry if that caused some confusion. What I am saying is that if spraying those few 'banana's causes a mold problem you already had a moisture problem. In order to 'get mold' you need high moisture. A spray directed at the banana is not going to put enough moisture to 'cause mold'. Do whatever you are comfortable with. VV
