Believe it or not 420 there are three 8 foot poles in there somewhere. I have some of the main stems attached to them by means of wire is that a bad idea?
you are good mon, still might wanna wrap it a few times, not too tight or nothing but mine always supported by bamboo and I still wrap/tie em 2x-4xb depending on strain.......I have about 12 bamboo poles per plant and I am on my 3rd wrap with sativa, after a while you cant see bamboos or the wraps cuz plant grows thru them, so i believe ya but 3 poles might not be enough support for the other branches and its easy to attach a stetchy tape to your 8 foot pole and walk around the plant a few times, start from bottom and work your way up as you go around, that shd work fairly easy, and maybe wrap again for support once buds are growing if branches still look to heavy.......btw nice looking lady you are doing very good, keep your pimp hand strong!!!

LOL.....no offense, but I see nothing wrong with your "plant" ( we call those trees here ) except for the fact that it is greener than my jealous face at the moment......that is one beautiful plant. I am imagining myself kicking back on that rooftop sipping a single malt scotch and just breathing and smiling.

That thing will soon be stinking up the entire neighborhood !!!!!!!!!!!!
Deffo no offence taken. Your right apart from a little twisting on the tips of the leaves it appears ok at this stage. I am just hoping with the knowledge on here I wont hit a brick wall like last year.
Take care,

You could use stakes and string to lightly open her up a bit then trim the branches that aren't getting much light. Pretty much what everyone else said. Good looking plant. Keep a close eye out for budworms and spider mites. Might want to spray with a neem solution if you haven't already. Good for a pound if done right. Good luck man
Cheers Tennis I have chopped some of the less stronger branches off and can see some real value in opening her up a bit I done a little dummy run and think it could be done fairly easy with things I have to hand.
Cheers.

If powdery mildew was a problem last year, what are you going to do this year to avoid it?

A spray bottle mixture of water, milk, and baking soda can help clear it up and avoid it.

What do the other veteranos in here use?
Hola Bigjon I am trying to avoid it happening again. The mixture you mention, what are the ratios to use and can I spray the plant with the mixture before any mildew appears? When would you suggest is the best time to spray the plant?

I don't see any pm on that plant? I don't know about using it as a preventative as I live in a place with very little humidity and powdery mildew so go figure. I take it you are near the ocean with that type of humidity? The fan option would probably serve you well.
As Jon stated its all about the preventative measures in growing pot. Maybe we will get someone with more experience in humid growing conditions.
A couple of stone throws away from the beach. The fan seems logical but the mrs would probably do cart wheels if she went on the roof and saw a fan blowing the plant. You know how sensetive the female species can be.

I am favouring opening her up a bit for more light air flow etc.Would wrapping her up go against the grain of what I am strongly thinking of doing in the next day or two?

Mix an ounce of potassium bicarbonate in a gallon of water and 1.5 cups non fat milk. Sorry I said baking soda, what you really want is potassium bicarbonate. You can find it at nurseries. I haven't experienced PM problems so I'm just giving you anecdotal advice from other people. But Ed Rosenthal supports it so that's all I really need to know.

Best time to spray would be like spraying anything on your plant, before sunset or right at sundown.

No Mon, If you want go ahead and open her up as you were Mon but when you are done go ahead and wrap her.......This Mon would not wrap her tight or pull her together an jus wrap her jus how she is so that when she does gain weight she will stay in her place or only slightly drops......If that Mon don't wrap her, this Mon have a feeling that, that Mons fruits will either break or hang and to the ground before she is ready to harvest. And as I always say, if you want yer ladies to be lookin good then yous better keep yo PIMP HAND STRONG!!!!

I think you're on the right track. You can add support when you open her out. I would give her support that way.

PM is a bitch I had rounds with it on my red dragon last year till my grower friend told me to mix 1 part skim milk with 9 parts water and spray them. I was skeptical but it worked.
keep an eye on her and the first signs of and pm do her. That plant is too beautiful to loose.

wow, its a majestic bush. If you can prevent the mold you might be OK. outdoors it comes down to timing, let it go as long as possible, but watch out for rain and/or high winds. if it rains try to shake the moisture off the branches but if its flowering and gets wet the branches get heavy or break.
its better to harvest some like half of it a little early than wait too long and have it rot. I have this LA confidential in a greenhouse until maybe early november this year, just starting to flower but others are almost halfway already.
