Trying to see this through.

I can't tell if it's too tall or not, but in regards to the falling limbs you should just move it under the wooden frame you have behind your plant and use fishline to tie the limbs the the beams above that seems like it would be easy. In regards to the powder from last year, you need to watch out for it this year and take preventative measures, go to a hydroponic store and get some "Green Cure" its a poweder that you mix with water and spray on the leaves of your plant for two days on, then two days off. Hollowing her out means pulling off some of the bigger fan leaves down near the bottom of the plant. Lots of leaves near the bottom is asking for mold so you should try and thin out the areas, also you should try and bottom your plants which is a method of pulling off the lower leaves/branches to prevent mold - but it also makes the growth spread out among the higher branches a lot more making those buds nice and big. In essence you want to prevent the mold, get the green cure or something similar and thin out those branches. Also think about a way of holding those branches up, once the buds get big they will start bending and snapping. The fan is also a good idea, it makes the branches grow stronger. In the case of your mighty winds, try and get some room dividers so you can guide the airflow around your tree next time and hopefully not lose any branches.

Mighty tolerant neighbors there, Brit. Nice ones too if they don't rip that plant. Mediterranean?
Spot on hotrod, southern Spain. Most of my neighbours are spanish and there seems to be a gentlemans agreement between them, what you grow is yours as most of them seem to be at it.The spanish police also seem very liberal towards growing it as long as you dont kick the arse out of it.
