two plants have a droopy branch. I cut one out and the stem where the branch is just kind of fell out.
Its been 100+ every day and im using 8 gallons in some 45 gallon pots.
Soil is wet and ground is soggy but they are doing GREAT, almost to well. MY fence is shrinking. Jesus! I am new so never knew they can get big as a VW!
Any way, a guy said I should have pulled all lower branches but the lowers came out from the soil (The ones that make a "U" shape) and out the fence and all the freaking way to the top and became top colas!
SO this HUGE branch coming from the wet soil all I can guess is getting stem rot where it joins the stem?
Im backing off the water on the 2 plants that appear droopy.
I don't mind loosing a branch but 3 in 3 days bug me and these branches are im guessing bigger then most guys entire plant.
I do have water on the ground and running down the road but again its raised smart pots on pallets.
Iv already backed off night water, except "Dr. Frankenstein" OMG, that monster needs water by 5pm. Its massive and requires a ladder to get to the top.
Tips for a new kid?
