well, if you're going to dig a huge hole to grow pot, you might as well buy 20 or 30 100 foot long extension cords to run electricity to the grow, makes about the same amount of sense.

If I spent the time to dig that hole I would of put shrooms in it. Not try to grow weeds. No power needed. Dig hole give airspace and add spores. Check back in a few weeks.. And if you crop right no need to ever replant the spores.

overall do you guys think that this is a completely dumbass idea from start to finish, or does the fact that i decided to do this in my parents back yard sent it to, dumbass, a small town in the state of, idiocrosy, in the the country run by Sir hairbrain MCschemerson the 8th

also would anyone care to elaborate on how to grow shrooms down there. I assume the building will become a massive terrarrium and i would just
have to grow some mycelium on rice cakes, and then throw them all in there on the floor and and make a led light putting out a few hundred lumens on a battery to be a light.
would i need an exit vent to keep co2 low or can it all be naturally aspirated by the dirt surrounding it
also if anyone else has any other uses for the room speak up.
pot grow is obviously out, shrooomery is a mabyee, im not going to synth meth there cause thats where i draw the line

it can be fully waterproofed to the T
it can have electricity
figure out what i can do with it, i'm out of ideas past growing weed, growing shrooms, growing legitamite mushrooms.......... wait a sec what if i farm two types of mushrooms, edible and psychotropic at the same time. telling my perents "well might as well use it for something so lets grow some shitake mushrooms" then whatever is not shitake mushrooms must be some contaminating species and i will get rid of them for them. this will allow me to grow shrooms with my perents consent.
