Well it looks like they should be not too hard to breed. I hope there's a captive breeding program ... they're lovely creatures. cn

apparantly they are very fussy when it comes to mating so that one must have a thing for the dark ones lol. they do breed them in captivity but not very successfully. thats what you get when ignorant english settlers introduce species to a place that cant handle them.

Iirc cats were the Nemesis of many many NZ species. In Hawai'i it's cats and mongoose. (Mongeese?) cn
 
feral cats, mustelids, wild dogs, possums, feral goats all kill our birds or destroy the forest and food they live in and eat. I work as a pest controller in the bush so i see 1st hand the damage pests do but us humans are the worst of all.

Your analogy is slightly flawed imo. I don't think 'they' give the slightest little fuck about stopping anything. I think a ban on bongs just gives them one more source of revenue whenever they break into someone's house.
 
I got me an unlimited supply of conies. My lil bro is a light metal fabricator, and makes cone peices out of copper. Snug fit for a garden hose. But its always nice to have a glassy instead of a Powerade bottle :/
