my rockwool is definitely drippping plus i dipped the actual clone itself under water too as ive seen in seemorebuds they did that, does it matter if the ph of the clone is 5.5 if your gunna transfer to soil?

No ph doesn't matter then, but a cube thats to wet does, hold it up till is stops dripping. put them back in the tray mist them, close the dome and check them tomorrow, I bet they perk up.

I cut my clone and it might sit there for a few minutes and I never had a problem with any bubble killing them.

Dude your cuts are fine,unless they are from an inmature donor.Either way Rule of thumb:For seedlings and clones less is more.
Shake (do not squeeze) excess water from cube,and put more distance from light.Try to maintain temp 70-80*F.
In Rockwool oversaturation reduces air pockets the spun rock retains.Rooting clones or germing seeds,the roots that form need air while not drying out.
Moist.not saturated.not dry.

I bet they aren't getting enough oxygen. Try taking the dome off. Water every day using enough water to flush out the old water and tnstead of relying on the dome to keep the leaves hydrated, just spray them with a spray bottle that has a good mist setting 2-3 times a day (remember to shut lights off when doing this).
I have a similar flat, but instead of rock wool, I use old paper towel rolls, cut them in half, and fill them with coir. I like the paper towel because it's taller then the cells and I found I get better results (longer roots) doing it this way.

The thing about rockwool is it seems to be a little more complicated than other mediums but it just takes a couple tries til get it dialed in IMO. I don't put the cutting in the hole that's already there i make a separate hole to the side, if you put it in the hole that is already there most likely the clone is just gonna be floating in the hole and will not root from my experience i have never had success with that. i always put a dome and spray 2-3 times a day maintaining condensation inside the dome at all times. also when you prepare the rockwool I always dip it into the 5.0-5.5 ph water real quick and fling the excess water from the cube so its not completely saturated making sure not to squeeze the cube at all. I do not apply any hormones or additives i would prefer not to and the clones i have done with plain water always seem to be happier (many people will advise you otherwise but that's how I do it).as for watering all I do is spray the cube lightly with the spray bottle I do not water it as I would with soil i find it to over saturate the medium and drown the clone. here is an example of a couple clone I have recently cut
(I believe the mother plant should be in top health so the clone can have a better chance)
DAY 3 SINCE THEY WERE CUT FROM THE MOTHER (as you can see I make a whole slightly to the side of the pre-existing hole)

I had the same thing happen on my first round of clones , I posted about it here https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/545256-clones-took-dive.html ..... for me it was either one or a combination of things like this one plant which doesn't like being cloned or the health of the plant or that I was using too big a block,.... my humidity was in the 70-80% range and temps were fine too but anyways they might turn around for you but will have a retarded curve to the stem

Oh and my advice to anyone wanting easy success.... buy or build a clone machine. I tried using 2 inch rock wool cubes and it worked way better with a 80% success rate but in talking to my hydro shop about it haggled a sweet deal on a Turbo clone machine which gave me 100% success . With a machine you can go from there into any medium and the only hard part comes if you take more clones than you really need ... then you have to chose which ones to keep lol I sat there for about 2 hours trying to choose about 5 to trash and ended up just making room in my veg area for them all

There are lots of ways so it may not be a necessity but it sure works and fast and all conveniently self contained.

but wont shutting the light off affect my light cycle if so how long should i keep it off? i did notice when i misted my mother the water droplets magnified the light and burned my leaves, ive also noticed that there are a few more burns on 1 of the leaves but i havent been misting i keep finding water on the leaves and i have no idea where its coming from

ahh right i was thinking somewhere along them lines its pretty annoying that the leaf would get burned from that because my temps are more or less perfect 26c sometimes it drops or raises a little depending on the weather and i have intake fan on constantly, im worried though when i transfer tthe amount of clones i want and i switch to my 600w hps it will be way too hot could you give me any advice on how to keep it cool? btw i also bought a 3 speed stand up fan because i know that the temps will rise rapidly and i want them to be steady like they are now.

sometimes ill cut the leaves sometimes I wont but I always cut them in half ill just remove the lower node and leave the leaf.
IMO they should be under 24 hour light but clones should not look droopy they should remain perky at all times, how they look on the mother plant or better.
my clones are under my 600 watt MH never had any problems with excessive heat or burning if thats what your trying to say

hmmm thats a high standard right there your setting your clones do look really good, since yesterday a few of them have perked up and ive taken a few more cuttings left the leaves on them this time and misted straight away ill upload pics soon.
