How to get 1 pound from a 600W HPS DWC System?

assuming i got perfect temps all along, a decent strain, I'm thinking of growing either:

- Nirvana: White widow
- Nirvana: Northern Light
- Dinafem: Critical +
- Dinafem: Blue Widow
- Dinafem: White Widow
- Green House Seeds: Super Lemon Haze
- Dutch Passion: Blueberry
- Big Buddha Seeds: Big Buddha Cheese
- Barney's Farm: Liberty Haze
- Barney's Farm: L.S.D.

I want 4 plants grown in a DWC system.

what are my chances of getting about a pound of grade A+ ganja?

is there any nutes/supplements anyone would suggest to increase yield that work good on DWC?

Never grown it myself, but I've heard good things about Dinafem's critical+ as far as yields go.

If this is your first grow your chances of achieving your goal of 0.75g per watt is slim to none.

that was not helpful at all lol, this will be my 2nd grow and I'm REALLY meticulous..

can you give me a reason as to why my chances are slim to none?

Given a good veg time and good training I see it possible to get a pound using a 600 hps with 4 plants in dwc. What size res will you be using?
I know scrog will be your best friend in a situation like this.

the guy at my hydro store is helping me build the same setup he has for himself:

its a system of 4 5Gallon buckets with 6 inch net pots connected through an 80 watt air pump.

you are askin for 4 oz per as a beginner

would it be better if i added more plants to the system?

whats the right balance between the amount of plants and the light energy available? (e.g. 600Watts shining on 4 plants vs 8 plants?)

I'm looking to grow the plants to a max of 4 feet.

i know i probably need some trial and error to fine tune the system, and I'm not saying that ill pull the full pound in the first DWC grow, I'm just asking if you guys think its feasible for a system this size to pull a grow that big if used correctly,

i mean given the amount of resources available in the internet, and after a serious amount of research and a couple grows under my belt, i feel ilke i should be able to take the advantage of the full potential of this DWC system.

but thats why we ask questions on RIU, to learn! thanks to the people that actually take time to read, think and actually answer questions in a polite way that actually help!

sum like indicas
sum gota py the rent
sum grow for fun

Like I said a decent amount of veg and scrog you should be at your mark or close to it. Then when you can fine tune it you should be straight. I wouldnt add more plants I would stay at 4 as you don't want it too crowded if you decide to veg long.

There is a couple grows on this site in dwc with people pulling impressive numbers, so I'm sure once you get it worked out you'll be good.

i wanst talking about you, but i understand, and i don't expect shit to be handed down to me in a silver platter, i appreciate all help i can get because I'm benefiting from it and i do read and soak in everything that i read because I'm striving to be a good grower and i care about this plant.

I'm referring to the people that reply to my thread only saying ill never achieve that because I'm a noob and then listing no other details.
