When do sugar leafs begin to form during flowering?

Leaves grow from nodes, buds grow from nodes. Simple. Sugar leaves aren't anything special, they're just leaves growing from the same place as buds that get coated with resin.

all will produce at least some resin on the small leaves protruding out of the buds. Some much more than others. Indica leaning plants have more sugary leaves than sativa in general. A longer flowering Haze variety would have less. Something like N Lights, Kush, etc, would have more sugar leaves to collect while trimming/manicuring.

If your buds are super sugary your small leaves should be too.

Should be very noticable after two to three week in, this grow had them after about ten days
