My dog is a female. I was speaking generally, because German Shepherds are one breed that maintains similar protection qualities in both sexes.
Females are known to be more protective of the owner, while males are usually more protective of property. However, both sexes are keen on protection, and are a favorite breed for "junkyard dogs".

How did you even relate my suggestion to him, as an inability to differentiate my dog's sex? The only statement I made concerning my dog was here: "Trust me, I have a large german shepherd that goes NUTS whenever anything gets near our property."

Not sure if you're unable to read correctly, or if you were just being a smartass. Either way, it didn't work out well for you.
Good day

That's a good looking German Shepherd you have tryingtogrow! How big is he?

My girl is just about 3 years, and was the runt of her litter, however shes sittin pretty at 80lbs solid. Unfortunatly, the first thing we did was have her spade for medical reasons. So there won't be any passing of her beautiful genes. She's insanely smart, knowing each of her commands in English, German and Silent (hand signals), and the best protection we could have asked for; extremely loving and caring.

wow guy, way to be super defensive and lack a sense of humor. of course i was being a smartass, im pretty sure everyone who owns a dog knows what sex there dog is. and since u only know how to post one sentence of your post, ill put up the one that followed. Trust me, I have a large german shepherd that goes NUTS whenever anything gets near our property. Best of all, she/he will not only alert and wake you, but if they are dumb enough to continue on, she will start roughin em up for ya.
u should know that when changing the subject of something, let it be known what your talking about. if u had changed he/she to they, german shepherds, these dogs, or something alike it would of made more sense. instead ur talking of 2 different subjects in 1 sentence, without even making it clear exactly which one ur talking about. causes confusion for the reader's. so is it that im unable to read correctly or that u are unable to write correctly? i knew the he/she thing was a mistake or improper wording, but nonetheless, had to take the opportunity to be a smartass, its just in my nature. but unfortunately u got all worked up and defensive. u need to learn how to take a joke and try walking through life without that barbed wire up ur ass. it makes for easier living, and walking for that matter

Aw shit too bad
He is still just a hair under 5 months, so he's still a baby, we do all his commands in german as well, but havent worked on hand signals yet. he is so damn smart and just knows things that we never taught him or only spent ten min teaching him and he gets it that quick. Kinda scary actually, this is my first german shepherd, swooped him up at 7 weeks old and there really wasnt even any house training to do either, and no seperation anxiety from his parents or siblings.
His mom was a healthy 86 pounds and his dad was a healthy 89 pounds, he looks just like his daddy. He is going to be fucking huge. Very impressed with the GSD.

shit theyre lookin good, big improvement from last year, how the hell u get around in there, the plants barely have enough room
i have to crawl on hands and knees to get past the plants in the middle. they grew way too big, they're starting to hit the ceiling and really hug the walls, which is no good as that means guaranteed mold.

Might wanna do a vendange verte before the bud set gets really really going. Those are some tall plants. cn
i just got under them the other day to pull dead leaves and ended up pulling undesirable branches while i was at it. i might do a round two in another few days and i can spot the winners and losers.
