hey can someone tell me what i did wrong becouse first of all the bud really didnt smell bad on the plant but when i dried it it didnt smell like nothing. it wasnt that pine neeedle smell ut it just didnt have a smell what do i do to get the smell back when the buds are ijn the jar.
my bud doesnt smell like nething?????

Same thing happened to me, you either harvested too soon, or did not hang upside down for at least 72 hours before you cut your buds and went to your jars. I tried everything to get that smell back but it still to this day smells like hay. I gave 90 percent of it away. Total damm waste, almost 1/2 lb down the toilet.

You should dry your flowers much longer than 72 hours before putting into jars! you wanna go at least a week. Some pot doesnt smell until you break it up a bit especially when its not dried and cured properly.

Agree, i do 72 hours hanging and than a week in paper bags before they go in the jars. I just harvested mine way too early I beleive, not ever going happen again
goood looks man. i deff kno the prob. i wanted to puff so bad one day and all i had was my bud that was drying so i tried drying it really fast so i can puff i only had it upside down for 2 days the bud was crispy dry but smelled like pine neeedled hey still smoked it got nice but goood looks on letting me kno

my best recommendation on this subject is only that hind sight is 20/20 you cant get the smell back but next time you harvest you can take more precautions and do it properly. hang your buds up until you get a clean and crisp snapping sound. after that, you can put them in jars to cure them. sorry it didnt work out for you this time but hopefully next time you will have some loud shit. happy growing and as always, stay smokey

It starts to stink in early mid flower, most of the time for me smell dissipates late in flower if buds are not moved around much. Chopping and trimming it stinks again. After just 2-3 days in dry it begins to smell like hay, a normal process. It tends to keep a hay or grassy type of smell until you cure for about 2-3 days, smell comes right back.
If your smell doesn't come back by end of dry or 2-3 days in cure it was harvested too early and there could be other reasons. You must go through the entire trim-dry-cure process to obtain the best taste, smell and smoothness.

yeah in jus copped my two haze autos yester day so should i hang upside down for atleast a week then put them in to jars or paper bags???? i harvested to early last time besouse i wanted to smoke i had no bud sooo i jus said fuk it it smelled like hay the smoke wasnt harsh but it did the job so really i didnt give a fuk but i really do want the smell nex time so if i decide to flip it it smells gooood you hear wat im saying??
