The entire GOP convention is based on purposeful distortions of what Obama has said or done. Pretty sad really when you consider that truely, actually, no one can come up with an explaination of what Romney intends to do to "get us on the right track".
I believe he intends to cut the NEA, NPR, Amtrack and the like. Then he will spend 5 percent more on the military and "eliminate loopholes" and cut taxes.
Nothing in his "proposal" is anything but face paint and bluster. Nothing he is interested in doing is anything different than what we had for 8 long years under Bush.
I think that pretty much answers your question london - he really will see about the details after he is elected. and of course, we all know that he will do the bidding of the right, with regard to domestic affairs and the bidding of the neo-cons with regard to foreign affairs - neocons, the very same ones that brought us two wonderful cakewalk wars that will pay for themselves.
He will likely cut medicare by that same 716 billion, the only difference is that what he will do is send it to his buddies.
