Uncle Buck I request that you leave my thread. We are not a threat to your leader's victory this election and your fear of Waking Up is rather depressing, more so in fact than with the average joe sheep because your dedication and passion would be a welcomed asset.
He has been running since 1980 is that your final answer?

What conspiracy? I think you just showed your ignorance is all, happens to me all the time.
Randal Howard Paul is the name on the BC.
A vote for no-one is a vote for an incumbent president
You support tariffs?I'm voting Gary Johnson, but I do agree with you that the libertarians have one flaw that prevents me from completely identifying with them. I don't support free trade. Instead I like how our founders did it. They put tariffs on imports in order to fund the federal government without taxing their citizens and in order to protect American business. Over the years, a lot of Ron Paul supporters have tried to explain to me why free trade is beneficial for us, but I'm not sold. How can you compete with some country run by a corporate sponsored dictator whose country still has sweat shops and factory towns? Ultimately, we would have to operate at their level to compete, and I'm not down with that. If you were to look hard enough, you could probably find some third party candidates who are closer to you on the economy. Off the top of my head I think Jil Stein and Rocky Anderson are solid alternatives to Gary
Funny just had a though that is probably already common knowledge, but whatever.
Ron Paul named his son Rand, Ron Paul likes philosopher Ayn Rand. It makes sense to me now. At little obsessive if you ask me but i only know the base of her philosophy. I should read one of her books but ehh...
As a Ron Paul supporter, I am proud to say that there is absolutely no way that I would vote for Obama/Romney.
You must mean having to prove who you are. I'd file that under change. It's being progressive and forward leaning.Oh really
That must be why republicans are suppressing the vote
how do you figure?
You support tariffs?
How big is the import/export gap in US trade?
Taxes are passed to the consumer through higher prices.
Your idea is stupid, no offense.
You're stupid. Offense intended.
Do you remember when Harley Davidson almost went out of business in the 80's? Do you recall how they turned things around. It wasn't by firing all of their American workers and moving to China. Ronald Reagan put a huge tariff on imported motorcycles. As a result, Harley Davidson remained in the United States and made a huge comeback. I've got about 734 more examples if you care to debate.
Combine this with a real education system would eliminate the worker-bee mentality that has been instituted since 1913, and restore the type of individualism I believe Ayn philosophized, not the interpretation of Alan Greenspan, et al. Alan wriggled his way into AAyns study groups. She never had a lot of use for him, though some lit says they were very close.
It's funny, about half the documentaries/books about the housing bubble open with the Ayn Rand and Greenspan relationship to try to blame libertarian ideology for the bubble because the financial market had been deregulated. They always disregard the part where central banking is not free market.
