I don't understand this "issue"? Why can he not take credit for approving a special forces raid that killed Osama? If it failed he would have taken the blame.

Well it was ok when vallery jarret told him it was. It took 3 times before it happened. And him take blame for anything is a joke.

There is no doubt to me Obama gets some credit for the Osama kill.
He could have mishandled it in numerous ways and he did not. He did the thing that needed to be done.
How much credit he should get is where the debate would come in to play. He cant get all the credit, but he definitely gets some of it.

Cuz Obama is a skilled militant who planned the entire raid from start to.finish, right?

The dude gets credit for signing the approval form, other than that he didn't do shit. Some of you are so far up Ty he governments ass you can't tell the difference between a group of citizens doing something and the government. Just like the ass clowns who think th he government put the first man on the moon, private sector did that too.

Politicians can't even do their own jobs so why give them credit for everyone else's?

This is also the way I see it, if you look back and do a little research, you'll find that VP Biden advised the P not to go through will the mission because of the political damage he could face if the attempt failed. Obama's biggest mistake with the American public was taking personal responsibility for the success, had he taken a lower key approach, we wouldn't be talking about it.

Right and people didn't blame Jimmy Carter for the failed rescue of hostages in Iran they blamed special forces for the failure. Not only was it a raid into a quasi ally that could have thought it an attack from India and intercepted but anyone would have signed off on it right?

so this was a private group of citizens acting on theit own that got bin laden?

it wasn't a government funded and trained military directed by leon panetta after an order from obama to make bin laden the top priority?

Video was flagged for removal so I didn't get to see it. Supposedly, they sat on the info for over 3 weeks before deciding to act on it......... they saw Osama pacing daily in his courtyard and were 99% positive it was him. I'm surprised Obama didn't call him, as a "personal" favor to the Arab world, and tell him to go hide in the hills. Years down the road this may be the ONLY highlight of his failed presidency.

Show us please where he took "personal credit" for taking out Bin Laden. this is the same sort of blatant misrepresentation the right contantly engages in, while you are at it, kindly show me - in context - where Gore said he invented the Internet.

Here we are Beenthere. This is an example of the right's inhabiting it's own little world. Someone on the right makes a claim. He usually makes that claim because it is a part of his understanding of the construction of the world. Because he actually believes that what he knows is within the realm of realty, when someone challenges him, he takes offense and states that "everyone KNOWS this, it is common knowlege" and then refuses to back up his statement, rather he will insist that the challenger should "do his own research". I cannot prove a negative, only you can demonstrate your "knowlege".
