Hi Everyone, I am wondering what the the best temperature for my room is would be. What setting should I set my A/C - Heater to kick in. I am currently running my room empty just to test everything. Right now I have my A/C cool setting set at 75 and my heat set to turn on at 68. Also my intake fan is set to turn off if temp drops to 65. Does this sound ok? Could it be a little warmer or cooler? Also what would an acceptable humidity level be? I have a 3 ton A/C and for when the lights go off I have a 65 pint dehumidifier since when the lights are off I won't be exhausting or intaking too much air because of the low outside temps in winter. Thanks in advance.

I belive 78F is optimal (with out Co2)
night temps schould be like 70F I belive (google it)
dont let it go over 80-82F if you can help it ..
and try to run your outtake/intake ventilation 24/7 .. even if you dont need it to keep temps down .. the plants will still need fresh air/co2 exchance ..

Optimal temperature without co2 implementation is 75. And thats sweet your difference when lights out will be around 15. Humidity levels are dependant on what growth stage you are at.

watch your de-humidifier, the humidity depends on what stage your plants are at, very high in seedling, bit lower in veg and lower still in flowering....you don't want it too low as the plants suffer, the leaves require some airborne moisture or they will end up crispy and curling. i tend to have my humidity about 70-80% in seedling/clone stage...about 50-60% in veg...and around 30-40 in flower...theses aren't exact amounts and its not a huge issue if it fluctuates as long as its not miles out for a prolonged period of time...your room temps seem fine...you may want to fine tune it as time goes and outside temps swing around so again as long as your close its usually ok.

i have very sealed grow rooms in an area that gets cold in winter and have never had to use a heater.
