Are my girls out to a slow start?

I am counting my days from when sprout was put in soil. I germinated 2 seeds a RP OG Kush and a DP Twighlight soaking for 12 hours in glass of room temp water followed by the paper towel method. The Og Kush popped about 12 hours later and the Twilight over 18 hours later. the kush was planted on 8/22 and twilight on 8/23 so I am using 8/22 as the default star date for both. So, as of today they are on day 12 on a 18/6 light schedule under 104 actual watts of 6500k cfl bulbs about 1-1.5 inches away from seedlings. For starter pots I used red solo cups cut down about half size, soil is Jiffy Starter mix, absolutely no nutes in this soil mix and no nutes have been used so far. I already invested in some FFOF, Perlite, and 2.5 gallon containers. To me it looks as if they are growing a little slow, this my first grow and i suspect that I might just be a little impatient about it, but why not get the RIU opinions about it. so my questions are:

1. Do they they look healthy/ on track for day 12 from sprout?
2. How soon should I transplant into the FFOF?
3. Should I transplant straight into the 2.5 gal pots( plan to use as final pots due space restrictions) or into next size up pots?

The pics were taken on day 10 from sprout. pic1: RP Og Kush pic2: DP Twilight

Thanks in advanced for all the help.

Yea you're a few days behind the norm. No worries, just don't over water. Get more watts if you can.

I think that soil is a bit compact, but you are on the right track....just don't overwater like everybody has said and try to find either a better mix to transplant into in a few more days or go to the store and buy some perlite and add it to the mix you transplant into...

Ocean forest has plenty of perlite in it already, that shouldn't be an issue. In the past, my problem with it is it drains and dries too fast, always needed lots of watering

He started them in Jiffy mix though....they are not in FFOF yet. I have never had good results starting in the jiffy starter mix, but to each their own.

Thanks to all for the replies. I agree the one on the left (og kush) looks over watered but the its been like that since it sprouted and Ive been watering both of them 120ml every 2 days. I let them go 3 days this last time around and the soil became so dry the twilight was laying on it's side, I was pissed, but soon is I watered and carefully firmed the base a bit it stayed up with no problem due for water in the morning, been using the fingers 2 inches into soil test and it seems to be working. As for the soil I dont really like the jiffy starter mix, next time I'll try something with light nutrients to start them off a little stronger. Will transplant probably in about a week or so.
