better nutes?

so i got a few questions as far as nutes go.. i went to the garden store and the guy was nice and knowledgeable about a few questions i had. big question is he sold me some nutes that he claim would do me a big favor (:leaf:) as a result bloom booster ect and a enchacer that would get me bigger flowers.

a week later i went to walmart and i went into the garden section lol and found some miracle grow nutes and bloom booster that had more of the stuff neeeded n,p,k than what i had boought. now im wondering if more is better? or are these nutes that i got specific for my growing??? put some pics up any suggestions?IMG_0135.jpgIMG_0139.jpgIMG_0134.jpgthis is the enchancer he gave me

I'd go for the Botanicare nutes over the MG nutes. Botanicare nutes are made for what we're growing, MG is made to grow the biggest brightest marigolds. Not all flowers are created equal...lol...

What medium are you growing in, and what method?

im using 5 gallon pots with the miracle grow soil. first time grower so i read on some threads that these nutes are good just thought more is better... also if i use the mg instead will it acually work? or just burn my leafs?

MG will work in soil, although since it lacks calcium and magnesium you will have to add that (cal mag).
CNS is made for Hydroponics, in hydro there are much stricter nutrient requirements, MG would not be an option there.

I'm not sure which would be better but after doing some reading I think they should start spelling "nutes" as "newts" (as in eye of.. ) because it has a lot more hocus pocus and conjecture elements than nearly anything else I've seen.
I'm not sure the plants can read the labels or brand names

hahaha yeah im a bit confused on all the how much and what not to use when stuff too but what i want to know is if i use the MG will it give me better results? or whats the wosrt that can happen?

yeah, more is better? have you spent any time here looking at all the posts of burned and abused plants? more is not better with nutes, maybe with lights.

Yeah I've seen them am just curious as to if anybody has used them? And what the results were? I'm thinking bout doing some testing with the mg and some other nutes and see what the outcome is. Any suggestions?

I used the all purpose version once at about half strength this season as a "quick fix" when early in growth leaves got that candyass light green color and were getting smaller instead of larger. It did the trick.

Like you, I'm curious as to whether the bloom booster in particular really has any negative effects. I have yet to see any real evidence that it's harmful. Just opinions, fear, uncertainty and doubt.

does any body know if there are any nutes out there for blooming with the 15, 30, 15 npk ratio? and how its worked for them? im the same way too scared to loose my plants to try anything yet.... but i took a few clones from the banana kush im growing and im highly tempted to use the mg on one of them and see if i get better result as to using the botanicare and big swell from soul synthetics....

so ive decided im gonna use the mg on my plants and will keep yall posted as to what happens with the..... will be posting pics within 4 week as thats when my harvest should be doe by then

Sigh. More of something in a nutrient isn't always a good thing. In fact, I'm not sure it ever is a good thing. Since not all plants are the same, not all nutrient choices should be the same.

Miracle Grow is crap that's not designed to work with MMJ. Just saying. You need to choose nutrients that are actually designed for growing waht you want to grow.

I've used Advanced Nutrients for a while now, and it's the one I would recommend.
