How well filters work?

Howdy guys, I was just wondering how well the phresh filter works? I have a few plants going in a 5x5x6 room and will have to start thinking about venting to the attic soon. Im using a Cool tube and was thinking about a 6 inch filter, With the fan in the attic sucking thru the room and light, Is it possible to do this with a 200 cfm fan and a 10 foot run? also is it possible to get a fan quite enough not to be heard in the rest of the house? thankyou..

FWIR they work, though i think 200 CFM for your space is not enough. I believe you need roughly 350 CFM to cover that room and given the extra pressure that filter can produce i would say you need a 6" x 18" filter and a 400+ CFM 6" fan. using insulated ducting, hanging everything with rubber bungees, using rubber lined duct crimps (whatever they are called/ join ducting to everything reduces vibration), and you can add a muffler or build a box lined with dynamat around the fan enclosure, and finally put it on a switch to allow you to dictate power and speed.

I have a 5x6x7 room and a 4" 200cfm would cool the lights but no way it will pull thru a filter, cool tube, and pull enough air to create negative pressure.
