A couple of Scrog question

I don't think he is being negative, rather; he is upset at the notion that you neither understand the basic fundamentals of growing cannabis (let alone medical grade), and with NO experience you have made a commitment to medical patients that need medicine for their illness. I have a wasting disorder so I take this seriously. On top of that, it is obvious by your set up, as well as the fact that you have "financed" this for 20k dollars, that you are looking to set up a factory for profit. You probably saw some huge SCROG grows where someone vegged for months and months and pulled a great yield and said to yourself " I can do this x 50 and make a killing"

That is just my take on this whole thing. I am a firm believer that one should master the fundamentals of anything before utilizing expensive technology to aid in a more productive harvest/product/end result.

Exactly. Been a real medical pro for way over 30 years. Very early pro-medical in NM for glaucoma initially and then for nausea control for chemo patients. The kind of shit these sorts do is draw unwanted attention by the Feds! The Fed's trashed the MM industry in MT last summer. In 1 summer! 2 big sweeps through Missoula and card holding patients were left buying grams and eighths just trying to get to Helena. Then they hit there and Great Falls. Turns out people were doing just what you say and trying to make a killing. An ex-U of MT quarterback had his dispensary raided and everybody was up in arms. Turns out he had other businesses and was financing it all through selling smoke. You have a right to expect to profit from a legit business and growing is included. It's a lot of damned work if you really care. But this guy in Missoula - $286,000.00. A goofy QB, married in college and 2 kids and a big house and that kind of money? IT PISSES COPS AND DA'S OFF!!!!

I originally came to ask some questions about scrog and FIM and the sort just see peoples experience, but I would better off following High Times and SKunk tabloid methods than listening to the dribble off this bunch.

OK... You Scrog masters... I got a scrog question... would supercropping be a suitable technique to add to a scrog grow? I just hear so much raving around here about the improvement to the bud size that supercropping can produce.... weigh in please?

suppercropping IMO wouldn't work all that well for scrogging. I couldn't imagine doing that to ~40+ budsites. Topping and LST go great with scrog.

The Auxins in the terminal cola are dispersed to the surrounding branches without stunting top growth. It has a different name because it is a very different thing. Pruning and topping are different. Punning is the cutting of fan leaves, topping is cutting off the top most nodular growth so the plant focuses on growing secondary branches

Hate to continue with semantics then, but the FIM technique calls for "pinching" the very top of the plant and therefore does not involve CUTTING at all. So your original statement is still wrong before you continue spouting off irrational sentences you should reflect on the pertinence of this argument.

I agree, I registered on this site because I was looking forward to following a 50 plant scrog. Rather than give someone some props for jumping in with both feet and maybe some usefull advice these assholes just ganged up and started slamming him. Who gives a fuck what he was growing for!
