harvest?

im a newbie to growing but have grown 2 before, one tasted like crap n the other died cause i forgot about it lol but have got another one growing now which the seed was a feminized one my mate gave me, it has been growing out side in the lovely british weather lol for about 4 months now but not to sure... think i smoke to much :) but has been budding up for ruffly 4 weeks now but only the tops are budding rite up and do look ready to prune but the rest of the plant is struggling to bud and isnt nowere near fully budded. was wondering if i could prune the ready top buds and leave the rest to grow? as i dnt wanna keep it growing and they go mouldy or die as they look perfect! if u know a lot about growing u can prob tell that i havent got a clue how to grow, i just planted it in a pot and progrest in size of pot through out and just watered near enough every day thats all i did wanted to just flick some seeds in the ground n come back when there done but have learnt now that this cant be done. so any advise would be great, cheers

This may sound harsh but...you've put in a half-assed job to begin with so your end result will be the same. If the plants{s} health is that poor.... then take the money and run. IMO

alright cheers bud, but do u think i should prune the top buds n leave the rest to grow?
There is no better teacher than experience, so I would say yes/no. Yes because it seems that it's not going well for you. No because MJ is a hearty plant and she just might surprise you. At least you'll be able to say, ya I've done that and this was the result.

Greetings mate.

Don't let people get you down.

You put ONE plant outside to experiment growing something you enjoy. It is how you learn.

Anyways, I doubt the plant is ready for harvest. October, sometimes even early November is finish time for most outdoor strains. Perhaps if you could provide info about the genetic, a more appropriate time frame could be given. The top will always fill out first before the bottom, indoor and outdoor, no worries. If you really think the top is obstructing the bottom growth, put a stake in the ground a foot length from the plant and gently bend the top and tie it to the stake. This will give most of the bottom a better view of the sky.

Then, just keep doing whatever you've been doing for another month or so. You'll see.

Have fun.

i wouldnt say at all it looked unhealthy, i have made a lil shed thing for it out of wood and perspecs but didnt have quite enough so it is a bit exposed but the rain will never get it so it deff dont look unhealthy,i already have a stake holding the top down for about 2 weeks now but the top compaired to the bottom is unreal the tops look ready n bottom looks like its only just started budding. i have one that is in the shed and one that is just out in all the elements just to c if it survives and the other one has to, but it hasnt budded yet the bottom half looks a bit unhealthy but top branches look healthy and are starting to have the lil white hairs coming out so its starting but only just, but its survived i will give it that it has done well lol
