Check out my pictures, you can see the yellow dots forming. know i am having heat problems and i am addressing that as we speak. im about to install an intake fan and add another oscalating fan to my room.

I bought these clones and they are about 12 days old. i took the clones and put them in foxfarm ocean forest soil. there was also the obvious stress of moving them to a new inviroment and putting them in bigger pots. but i was wondering if the ocean forest is too strong for them, maybe its a combo of everything.

The new growth is looking fine. but do you all think and what measures should i take??? oh ya, i uses RO water and water mon,wed and sat.

Thanks:joint:

damn it, i think it from putting them into too big of a pot this early. i was going to put them in the plastic keg cups, but i thought they would be fine and i could skip the cup part.

It looks more like a heat problem to me seeing as it is affecting the uppermost growth. Are you foliage feeding or splashing water/ferts on leaves as this can make problem worse.

Best advice I read here to avoid heat burn is to put hand at level of top of plant and see how it feels after a minute. If it is uncomfortably hot on your skin, it will definitely be too hot for plant.

The damaged leaves will not recover so keep an eye on new growth.

I have been growing these ice babies for 3 weeks now and have notice that the first leaves are starting to go yellow in patches, starting from the tip and slowly heading towards the centre. They seem to be drying and then cracking after that. A few of the mid leaves are getting a little spotty as well.... Im guessing that its not light burning... Is it because of over feeding at such a young stage or too much water?? Any help with this would be much appreciated! Here are some pics to help show what Ive explained.

I have never foilal feed. as for the heat, my room is too hot and i am trying to fix that. but as far as the distance to the light, that seems fine. ive done the hand trick and it seems fine. New growth and the top leaves seem to be fine. i water them 3 times a week and use a moisture meter to tell me where they are at.

so foxfarm oceans forest isnt too stron for these new babies?

should i have started them in plastic keg cups? i just went form the clones, straight to 1 gal pots to skip a step becuase they'd be going into larger pots in a few weeks anyways.

dude they are fine, do you got a dome on them, have you always gone soil, i need help too, this is my first,

no dome and ive always done soil. this is my second grow. im not too happy right now w it. They seem to be doing fine besides the burning and spots. i harvested my first grow about 2 weeks ago, which were 6 plants and i yield around 4 oz of dry weight. i kind of had the same issues with the 4 grape apes early on into the grow. so i was wondering if the ocean forest is too strong for new babies and if i should have used less of it to start.

i agree with that. ive never heard of the other stuff. a bag of ocean forst is like 18 at my local nursey. but price doesnt matter to me

first of all I am new to all of this but I have learned from the best. As to the problems with clones, Foxfarm is too strong. Mix your foxfarm 25% foxfarm and 75% perlmix (my spelling sucks) then throw in a handfull of coconut fiber per 4 gall pot. If starting from seed all seems to be fine. All thru the veg stage i used no additional nutrients. The last 2 feedings use nutrients. 1st feeding 400ppm 2nd feeding 550ppm. it is best to be at least 600ppm by the time you get to the flowering room. Remember to check the ppm in your tap water and add that number to the mix. For all novices like me learn to feel the weight of the pots. That way you will know when to water them. hope this novice helped
