Using a vaporizer would that be apartment safe/stealth smell wise

Hello everyone,

Well the time is quickly approaching for my move to oregon should be at the end of october.
I am going to be deciding on an apartment soon and want to get one somewhat close to portland.

Seems like most of them are non smoking places do you think if I use a vaporizer and maybe just use it in the bathroom with the fan on do you think that would be stealth enough that the apartment would not smell like weed.
Maybe a couple scented candles too.

I really want to be close enough to portland to use the bus system as that would be great for my medical appointments to the VA clinic that I have to go to on a regular basis.
I do have a car but would prefer not to be driving alot if im a OMMP patient.

And its been 20+ years since I have used marijuana so I just dont know with all the new stuff out how some of it works.

Ok I guess if you want to get picky about it, yea it leaves a smell, but it is very faint, and does not smell like burning weed.

Use a vaporizer and spray after with Ozium it's a medicinal odor killer. Hospitals use to use it to cover up the smell of shit and what not. And welcome to Oregon. You can live practically anywhere as tri met gores everywhere. To get to the4 va just take the #8 bus from downtown. I use to be a nurse at the VA here in Portlland then a paralegal, now I'm retired and grow good smoke.

Ozium I will try that out I just what to be under the radar and be left alone and not rent some crap hole apartment because they are the only ones that allow smoking.

Do the shops up there sell vaps I was looking at the extreme Q vap seemed priced well like 180 on amazon and I dont want to spend like $500 bucks on a volcano vap that seems overpriced a bit.

There is a weed smell but it is more of a fresh weed than a burnt weed smell -- it is not as strong or as noticeable as smoke though, so definitely way more stealth than smoking.. but not guaranteed stealth

Think Im going to just smoke in the bathroom with the fan on its my apartment and I dont share with anyone just dont want to bother/ let the neighbors know what im doing.
Ill get some good odor spray and some nice soy candles and think I should be golden its a fairly small complex too so should be fine just nervous about it all havent smoked in 20+ years.
Just really hoping my health improves things been so bad lately I really think this is my last chance cancer is a fucking bitch and chronic cancer is like a wife you hate and can never divorce lol.
On the plus side things really go to shit oregons "die with dignity law" is a nice security blanket for me really dont want to go through the end stage of leukimia.
All in all I think I have made the right choice got my place locked down and should be up there oct 6th or so got a grower lined up i think and a good clinic to work with so keeping my fingers crossed and hoping the 3 years of hell I have been going through is coming to a damn end.

Peace eveyone and thanks for all the help on this board it has been a really usefull and uplifting place for me to go in some pretty dark times.

Damn that sucks.. didn't know if it was like that... if THAT's the case I'd tell'em if they smell it to go fuck themselves and leave you alone Some smell goods should take care of most of any vape smell though as it's not generally too strong. As long as your place doesn't vent right into someone else's you should be good i've never had a problem with neighbors even with just smoke.

Using anything in the bathroom with the fan on will be fine. That's what I did in the last apt., which was non-smoking, that I lived in, and not once did anyone indicate that they had any idea what I was doing.

Vaped weed does have a smell but not the burnt weed smell that most everyone knows

Yes.

Regardless of whether you combust it with a bong, or vape it with whatever, there WILL be an aroma signature. Vaping, however, can leave a much smaller aroma signature than any means of combustion, and is easier to mask with a scented candle / spray or whatever.

And its been 20+ years since I have used marijuana so I just dont know with all the new stuff out how some of it works.

I bought a nice little local made bong, and a vape, to enjoy my first harvest. The samples I have taken from my AK47's have pretty much kicked me right in the junk, and is far more effective than anything I ever encountered back in the late 80's. It is VERY easy to take more than you desire, and getting to a level that is....not comfortable, so to speak. Granted, we didn't get good weed in my area back then, but the ONLY thing I remember being even close to this weed is some shit that was supposed to be "Jamaican", that I got my hands on exactly ONCE.

Things sure have changed.

I am glad I bought the vape, as it is kick ass, and I just plug the whip right into my bong stem and use it with the bong. I'm an active dude, and I wasn't looking forward to smoking, so the vape saves me from having to smoke, OR, consume my cannabis in edibles.

Just take it slooooooowwww until you get a feel of exactly how much it takes to get the effects you desire, and watch out for those damn medibles!

I am really excited to get up there just locking everthing down now and should be up and carded in the next 3 weeks or so I think.
I just hope I can keep everything in budget since I am disabled and on a fixed income.
I have talked to a OMMP place up there and they said they could hook me up with a grower caregiver so hopefully that will lower my cost.
I am hoping to find a house to share with a fellow OMMP patient at some point who grows so we can grow are own and share the cost of a living house but need to get up there and setup and meet people first.

Anyways soon to be a fellow OMMP'er so take care all and happy toking lol they still use that word taking a toke or is that old 80's slang?

I'm pretty sure that "toking" is still an accepted term. I'm also sure that some douche bags have some special new terms that they use with each other in order to feel special and make other feel excluded.
