Well I have to say hot shot pest strips really work.

Kidnystoner420 told me about those pest strips, and, I was like no way, can something like that work!

Well it's been about two weeks, and not one mite in flower no webbing, no leaf damage, no mites.

I used one pest strip in a 6'x5'x7' make shift tent, and made sure my inline fan didn't come on at night for flowering.

Before that I tried soapy water, peppers, neem, and vickor's oil.

Neem worked really good, but just couldn't stop them?I was in my flower room 2 weeks ago, and could find some, here and there, but had too really look for them too.For the last two weeks I have been in my flower room, for about 30mins, to a hour, and can say my health has been just find in there.I forget I have it in there really, tell my nose is by it, because I'm moving plants next to it.

As for buds, they are not harm, as I have tried a bud already, and had no chemical tast, of the pest strips

I ran one 10 days the begining of this flower and it destroyed the little basters. I have a little army of ladybugs in there now incase they try to show back up. But fingers crossed im almost 4 weeks into this cycle and with every other day inspections i have not seen a single one of the little fuckers. Neem and lady bugs were enough to clean up my veg area. I dont see any cons of running these your first couple weeks of flowering just to make 100% sure you dont need to deal with them come week 6 or 7 of flowering because its a nightmare watching your buds get destroyed.

I finely told my self last night, mites are a thing of the past.

I still can't believe this really worked, and for $7 vs $100 for mite crap??Just wow, I see why they don't have these at hydro stores.

i've had a server mite out break this spring and 5 months later i still got them in my veg room, i've tried neem, pyrethrin, liquid ladybug, pepper water, and lastly i released 1500 lady bugs in there. nothing could stop the little fuckers. i threw one of these in my flower room 3 months ago. not a single mite in there still. the 2 rooms are separated by a 3" thick wall, and the veg room is vented through the flower room. so if i had them in 1 i should have had them in both. anyone know the long term effect these have on the plants, i got a harvest coming up in a few days and i'm worried about smoking them cause the warnings on them say not to use near fruit and not to inhale the fumes for more then 4 hours.

tried a bud, and had no pest strip taste?but just took it out the strip, as my buds are about to be harvest next week.

Just went to look for mites, so far so good.

ya, i only have the 1 strip so i pulled mine from the flower room and threw it into the veg room and put in about 500 lady bugs to keep the room mite free untill i can find a place by me to buy another one. i live way out in the bush and its hard to get things to me. if this thing wipes out the mites in my veg room i think im gonna be picking up a case or 2 of them. better the have extra then to run out

Generally such pest control applications work to kill insects via neurotoxins. think about it - kills flying insects that just happen to be in da 'hood? Your skin will also absorb and I'll wager it says on those things to limit exposure/handling/whatever.

we don't breath like insects, so are skin will not absorb fumes, like they do.

So far my health is 100%, and the pest strips don't really help when I got my inline fan going on when the lights are on.When the lights and inline fan are off, is when the pest strips work best.

Did you leave them in the room through flowering or did you only use them for a week or two? It has a fairly short breakdown time in greenhouse applications. I would give them atleast 2 weeks of no pest strip though. But thats just me. The chemical dosnt bioacumulate in plants or animals.
