Propping up a sprout?

wats poppin people,

basicly one of my sprouts is quite stretched cos i had the cfls way to far away, ive corrected this now and the sprout cant stand up unless i move the soil around the stem of the plant and it will stand up for a while, other than the stretching the sprout looks nice and healthy nice greeen leaves with a second set growing, at the moment im using a stick and some string to hold it up and the leaves are facing the light an everything, i just transplanted my sprouts to and it seems it has taken it well.

how long do you think it will be untill the plants can stand up on its own? or is it completly fucked.

if anyone has had this problem before, please do post

well.......... do you have a fan blowing on the plant? if not, they will never be able to hold themselves up. otherwise, no too long.

Get a fan on them, use some red light, and when you transplant put them about 2-3" deeper.

yep i definatly have a fan blowin on it, i just hope it recovers, i have to sprouts and the other one didnt strech atll so i realy hope this lil guy recovers. or girl lol

and if i have a a stick propping it up doesnt that kind of defeat the object of having a fan blowing on it? cos the stem wouldnt realy move.

sure when u transplant and notice not enough feel free and pack some in................

Soil no higher than 1" from the top of the container.

You might have to dig it out and just put it deeper, depending.

Propped or not, the fan is a must for stem and branch growth/strength.

When you get it deeper don't worry about propping it up anymore.. it should be fine with the fan.. plus, you'll notice how well it will do with a fan forcing it to become stronger.

i just topped up my soil and removed the stick and the plants is standing up fine, i also have a fan blowing on it so its all good ^^. thanks for your help everyone
