Got an idea for a PC experiment Grow

you must be reading my mind. I was going to attempt a Bonsai(sp?) With it. Might work. I've seen worse lol
I was just wondering how you wired the 360 fans and the regular computer fan. Did you hook it up to a power supply or an old phone charger? Just curious, I'm attempting to do a pc case as well and would like a little help with this part of my fabrication.

The fans are all 12 volts. When wiring something you want to make sure you have the proper voltage. Using the wrong voltage will result in 2 things. If it is too low, the fans will operate but only at a certain speed and will not be effective. If you use a cord with TOO much voltage it will call for that voltage from the outlet and short out the fans. If it DOES work with a higher voltage, unplug it asap and find a proper voltage cord because the fans just gave you chance to try again and not kill them.

looking like a good start-
i think i see 2 intakes up top? and exhaust right below it?
some suggestions:
- make the 2 intake = EXHAUST (heat rises.. im sure you know this)
- try to make the intake fan on the very bottom -- opposite side of the box
this way you have fresh air coming in from (bottom right >> lights >> top left)
for planters you can look into a 5x5 square planters.
or
6qt stirilite containers -- should fit the pc perfectly.

Thank you very much for the input herbal. You do have a good idea for the fans. I set them up the way I did tho out of convenience. And yes you are correct I am aware heat rises. Which is why I plan to add reflectors for the lights and have an idea to help channel some of the heat away from them as well. Still haven't made that plan concrete just yet. it's still in the designing stages. But thank you very much man I'll be sure to come up with something for them
As far as the planters I'm looking for one pot to be honest. I don't want any more then one in there at a time. I don't want to limit my already limited area. So a 5x5 I don't know how well that would work with the idea I have for LST. Unless you know something I do not (Which is very obvious you do) please feel free to school me. This whole thing is about learning for me. I am a sponge i will soak in anything you wish to share.

im currently running a pc grow at the moment -- so ive read PLENTY of journals/ideas/grows etc. im sure youve done your homework as well.
by no means am i claiming to be an expert and what not -- just passing along the knowledge ive collected.
as for 1 pot:
your dimension:
the Dimensions are; 14' Tall, 14' long, and 7' wide.
ideal pot for you would be LONG/FLAT that takes out the whole pc bottom.
pot to use: 6 qt / 5.7L sterilite container.
dimension: 13 1/2 L x 7.5 W (you can shave off the side a little and it whould work fine) x 5" height.
*you can even cut it half way and just make it 2 1/2" tall*
*definitely look into a long/wide container that fits best VS tall*
with your height for grow -- just be creative (its all part of the fun right?)
definitely LST from L >> R or R >> L. (using the whole container)

Herbal you are a smart one. I actually looked at a few pots at a select group of stores. One that I found that would fit perfectly is a tall one just like you mentioned. I planned to cut off the top part and actually drill holes along it for tie spots. I want to do a Right to left lst. but when the time comes knowing me I will probably change it up in some way. Not sure just yet.
