pot causing stunted growth? pic

Hi there everyone. have my autoflower unknown strain about 60days in a 12" tall 14" wide pot. noticed it was using water fast an piece of root was showing out drain hole. well the roots are the same shape of the pot and looks like there all roots. the plant looks really well and flowering nicely not sure if this could cause stunted growth or lack of bud growth. should i transplant it.? Thanks

I recently had the same problem with a month old plant, the growth slowed almost to a stop. I transplanted it to a bigger pot and by the next day i noticed a difference.

Only thing is im not to sure about the risks of transplanting whilst flowering. maybe someone will clear that up. :leaf:

Did you buy the soil like that or did you add the ish load of perlite yourself? Roots like something to hold on to and perlite aint it.

most likely rootbound or there was collected runoff water that just sat there for a while. are you using. weird becuase you're obviously using perlite.

Its potting soil with perlite and for some reason after weeks of watering it all came to the top. but ill.just tranaplant thank you everyone

In my opinion those bell shaped containers suck.I think it has something to do with the roots growing inwards as opposed to naturally growing outwards. If u mean stunted growth or lack of bud growth due to the transplant, just b careful, keep roots moist and have larger transplant container ready:).Stress should b minimal.
Anyone else w/opinion on bell shaped containers. What do ya think of 'em.Good or bad??
GOOD LUCK BIGSMOKEY
