The Bible is not a religion, it's a book! Men have made religions, sects and denominations of those sects based on that book in order to control people, but the Book itself tells you not to do that. You know, judge not, lest you be judged, a man meddling in the affairs of others is like grabbing a dog by the ears, etc. It's not the Book. The Book doesn't contradict science, it's the idiots who play fast and loose with their interpretations that contradict science. The Book even warns us about these monsters AND the prohibition of cannabis! "Bullshit," you say. Here, I'll show you in an imaginary conversation with God:
And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food." (Gen. 1:29)
To which I replied, "Except cannabis, right, God?"
"Did I say that," asked God?
"Well, those who claim to be yours are forbidding it."
"Yeah," He replied, "I warned you about that through Paul's letter to Timothy."
"You did?"
"Yes, in 1 Timothy 4:1-5: 'Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who... require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer."
"Well, then, I receive this herb that You created with thanksgiving. You are awesome!"
