28g wet weight that was,think that turned out to be an 8g cola when dried.. but the plant that cola came from gave me 42g of dried afghan goodness, by far my best auto yeild thus far... the 1st picture was the smaller of the 2 i grew but that was some fire!

I thought that was 28g dry. That cola had me all excited. Still, 42g from an auto would be fine by me, especially if it looks as good as yours.

Hey Psu! With the ffof mix I find that by the time I've used up the soil nutes I'm damn close to switching to 12/12 so i just go ahead and use a low strength flower nute instead. Obviously I dont switch the light schedule with the autos but I treat them the same way. Nothing but water for a few weeks then straight to low strength flower nutes and ramp them up higher as the grow goes.

Yeah, I reused my soil from the last grow. I ended up mixing 1/3 reused ffof, 1/3 new ffof & 1/3 perlite. As long as there isn't salt buildup, pests or anything else wrong from the previous grow I dont see a problem doing this. That being said when i start a new full run, (The Anesthesia!), I'm going coco, So all new stuff, nutes included! hehe.

PS - Running 20/4 in my "veg" tent. That is my new schedule. It works for the autos and I like the extra 2 hours of light to help make up for all the mainlining I'm doing with the photo periods.

I love autos i just got 515 wet grams from my auto norther lights blue by delicious seeds my auto cheeses from dinafem yeilded 411 wet..... Canna coco and nutes 600 mh/ hps and led for extra red.. Blackstar panels... They need lotsa light n low feedings and they turn out great i tried an aggressive feeding schedule and they turned out crap!!!!! A half ounce to a quarter on all 7... My 2 cents

Unscheduled Update... Cleaned the tent today and decided to pop some photos...

Day 46: The stretch has slowed, If not almost completely stopped. She is just putting on weight and producing trichs now. There isn't much but if you look closely you can finally see some frosting. She better ramp it up because I'm not super excited by what I'm seeing so far. She is way too "open" for my liking.

Yeah Dawg, She is starting to do her thing now. I love popping my head into the tent and smelling the dankness.

Day 50: I'm see absolutely no more stretch. She has gone into production mode, big time. Putting on weight and frosting up. I bumped the tent up to 450w a few days ago and the tent temps have risen accordingly. I'm not sweating it much as the past two days we've had warmer weather and after today we'll be exclusively below the 73 degree mark for a while. She seems to be responding well to the higher nutes and molasses. I am seeing what appears to be calcium and/or magnesium deficiency so I've hit her with some cal mag.

PS: It's dark and dreary. I should've taken the photos in the tent. These were the best I could get.

I really don't pay attention to smell. I smoke all day so I just don't notice it. My girl first mentioned she smelled something a little over a week after she started to flower. I'm going to say somewhere around Day 40 from seed is when mine started.

Quick Note: It's fucking B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L today! I've got high temps of 69 degrees in the tent so I decided to bump the ballast up to full power. Let's see how she responds to 600w.

Yea I'm gonna be smoking too. Okay so I'll play it safe and say for the first 4-5 weeks from seed they don't give off a major scent. How many more days you got til you harvest her? Looking forward to seeing the results.

If smell is a major concern for you then you might want to read up some other AKR grows just to get a better idea of when different phenos of this strain start to smell. As far as harvesting, I'm not sure. I've heard people harvest these after like 55 days from seed and I've heard 40-50 days from when it starts to flower. I'm going to say it's a safe bet I'm harvesting this girl within four weeks. Maybe sooner?

As far as harvesting, I'm not sure. I've heard people harvest these after like 55 days from seed and I've heard 40-50 days from when it starts to flower. I'm going to say it's a safe bet I'm harvesting this girl within four weeks. Maybe sooner?

Ahh, Ok, You're only worried about the first four weeks. I see your situation now. Yeah, I'd say you're covered.

I think last update I said I bumped the ballast up to 450w, I meant I bumped it up to 100%, 600w. Just wanted to clarify that for my journal.

Day 53: Not much to report. I was taking photos of the other plants and it was just convenient to do this one at the same time. Stretch is done, She is what she is. She is starting to stink up real nice, I love waking up to that smell. Major trich production and some pistils turning orange. She has really stepped it up. I hit her with some cal-mag the other day to correct some def's and it looks like she is responding to it so I'm gonna keep it up until it's time to flush her. Still hitting her full strength with nutes as well as molasses.
