He's right ^ unless your gonna spray something on em'i strongly disagree. 2four/2four will give u maximum yeild.
hey man!Yeah, very true. Good luck with that one plant man!

are both of you talking about 24/0 with auto? He's right ^ unless your gonna spray something on em'
Crazy awesome dude!!My last grow I went with 24/24 with short rider autos. This grow, same strain but running 18/6 to save money and cut the aroma down in the middle of the day. 52 grams from the 1st two, I'll see what these two I'm growing now do.
Out of wack ph is a leaf killer for sure.
My tap water PH is in the 9's. I add 20-25 drops of vinegar/gallon to bring it down to 6.5. I'm using FFOF and my run off water PH is usually 6.3 to 6.5.Crazy awesome dude!!
Yeah, as a pre-caution I have ordered a water PH tester and general hydroponics PH up and PH down 8 0z bottles.

Awesome! Glad to hear they are doing better man!this is where im trying to be at.
6.5 in
6.3-6.5 out
stable soil.
on a side note:
plants are getting better everyday!
just waiting on some dolomite lime addition.
18/6 will be fine really! it's all about what you want, having lights on 24 hours a day means lots of heat/humidity high running cost's ect, if you research it though marijuana is a p4 type plant which means it needs no dark period to make full use of its respiratory and photosynthetic systems, in other words you can have the lights on 24 hours a day with lowryders/auto's and so long as you keep other factors reasonable then you should get a fatter yield! but if 18/6 is whats recommended do that for sure, just something to know for next time! for me 20/4 is the best compromisehey man!
i just did some flushing today along with some slurry test for soil
i believe now that its not the heat thats causing all those leaves to turn brown.
its from a nutrient lock out!
my run off ph was @ 5.0
both my cup slurry test was @ 5.0
i thought ffof/happy frog soil was suppose to be good.. guess its not for me.
do you happen to know the ph of your ffof?
are both of you talking about 24/0 with auto?
i just went with what the breeder recommended - which was 18/6
I don't think you're correct. Autoflowers will flower either 24/24 or 12/12, regardless. They don't need the darkness period to trigger it. Yield on the various cycles used is much debated tho.i disagree about 24 hour sunlight on autos will give maximum yield, i use 20/4 for autos...im sorry but a flowering plant NEEDS darkness, that is what makes it flower, plain and simple. theres no arguing to it...if anyone doubts me, gladly check out my auto thread, if u got autos nicer than that ill give u 100 bucks

good luck with your LR2 if u have any questions feel free to PM me
My lowryder 2 has been on 18/6 for it's whole life so far and it has tons of hairs! You do NOT need to switch auto flower to 12/12...period. This does not mean that you can't, but most people will tell you 18/6 or 24/24. I don't even know why we are discussing this...it is STATED by the joint doctor himself to use 18/6 for best yields.I don't think you're correct. Autoflowers will flower either 24/24 or 12/12, regardless. They don't need the darkness period to trigger it. Yield on the various cycles used is much debated tho.
i never said they WOULDNT flower without darkness i said the MAX. Yield would not be 24/0..they DO need darkness to preform the necessary functions vital to reach their MAXIMUM flowering potentional PERIOD. of course they can flower on 24/0 but it wont be maximum, isnt that what we talking about here?I don't think you're correct.
