Trousers, I finally got me some balls on my Maui-Wowie. It took 35 days of spraying for the first sac to show. This strain just doesn't want to change sides.
One question about your experiences, when do you stop spraying? I've continued spraying daily. Last attempt with strain I stopped when I had a good set of sac's and "IT" stopped changin' and never opened sac's. So I was going to continue with the daily spray until I see something crack open.

Thanks for your thoughts. I've got the storage down, I have a couple of strains in glass with silica packs now.
I'm thinking I've give the he/she another 4 or 5 days (w/ CS) or until something opens. If nothing happens in 4 or 5 I'll give it a couple days without, if still nothing I'll most likely just cut the sac's off, dry and apply. I can't see them taking more than a wk to open now.

So it looks like itll be about 10 weeks from seed to harvest. Not bad at all. And from what I've read that extra week or 2 (week 9 & 10) really helps bring out the potency. I will be shooting for 70 days as well after I try your technique here with my AK Ryder seeds and Tiersias Mist to make autofem seeds. Will keep you informed of the progress once I start germinating them in about a week or 2. Looks like your method has proven successful in getting viable autofem seeds. Can't wait to try myself.

The more I think about it, the more I think I will see more variety in the plants.
If I remember my 10th grade biology class correctly the seeds should be about 25% taking after the dad, 25% taking after the mom and 50% a mix.
I am seeing a mix in all the LR2 x Autoberry and they are all the same.
In the past I have observed that the male will be more prevalent in the mix.
That doesn't really jibe with the 25/25/50 deal, so wtf do I know?
Chopping the LR2 x Autoberry tomorrow and probably give it to some friends after I sample a few fatties.

Hey Trousers, my he/she just won't open up the sac's. I doubt that you've had this problem, but thought you might have some thoughts. I'm at day 50 of CS spraying. The last couple of wks it's been every couple of days not every day. It's getting to the point where death might be near for the bitch. This is the second try on this strain, and its so stable it just can't complete. (both trys from same mother, they are 16th gen clones).

the sacs are full and have yellow edges where the sacs pop. I've seen this many times in normal males. But these just won't open.
Do you think I should just clip the ripe sacs, dry, and apply?? I've done this with real males. I've got a wk at most for the recipient before it's too late to fertilize.
Any thoughts??

I have heard of this happening when the cs is not strong enough. I spray for 14-21 days at most.
Maybe the constant spraying did not allow them to develop fully?
cs does stunt a plant.
Try removing some and opening them yourself. Maybe try to dry and store the pollen. I bet there is viable pollen in there.
It could also be the variety does not like cs like other varieties.

Thanks man, I'm thinking that this strain just doesn't want to change. If I stop spraying for a few days it will start female flower head on top of the sacs, Then I spray for 2 days in a row and the female flower will recede again. I'm gonna clip off a bunch of plump sacs after work, dry em, then crush em, and go from there.

I would start the seed about day 10 days after the first one sprouts. That will give you a couple/few days for germination.
My shemale was sprouted 14 days before the one I wanted pollinated.
Don't forget to remove the shemale about 4-5 weeks before you plan on picking. Let the seeded plant go longer than you normally would, you'll get fatter seeds. some will be falling out of the buds.

I very mutch enjoyed this post Trousers!! good stuff!!! i just oredered some T Mist on ebay for 20 bucks. Cant wait to try this!! i ordered some seeds from attitude too just for shits n giggles, then i started reading up on feminizing your own seeds and came across this post. i have this wonderful Grape Ape Idica that i used to grow alot before i changed to growing AK. One more AK round before i start to grow OG strictly. thank for the info.
