Yellowing on my plants

What nutrients are you using and what strength are you applying them? Also, can you provide environmental conditions (water type, strain, temps, ppm, ec).

Im using 10-5-10 quick grow nutrient that I bought from the Internet. Im using half teaspoon per gallon like the instructions say for seedlings and young plantI'm using water that I got from the drinking water machine that are on the sides of the road. Called here in Texas the water mill. I'm growing in 24x48x60 grow tent in my den under 600 watt hid MH bulb. I have 2 exhaust fans to remove heat. I'm not totally sure the temp inside the tent but it doesn't seem very hot inside. Maybe a little warmer the my house. Strain I'm not sure of either got the seeds from a bag u know. Have no clue what ppm is so I can't answer that part. And I have a regular fan inside to circulate the air inside the tent also. And yesterday I put a co2 producer inside made from yeast and sugar to dispense co2 not sure how much good it actually gonna do but I'm trying it.

I am very new to this please bare with me here. How would I reduce my ppm? And can I just buy the food ratio that ur saying? Or will it take mixing to get that ratio?

basically what ur suggesting is that I get a different nutrient for veg? Is my issue a nutrient burn or a calcium deficiency like I was thinking also?

I don't see it on the new growth. So wouldn't change just yet. What you are looking at happend 1-2 weeks ago. Never go by old leaves just new. If it happens more just cut your nutes by 1/4 and use tap water. Cal mag will go up.

Can I asked why you purchased a 10-5-10 for veg? I have never heard of this ratio recommended to veg cannabis. Can you post the food that you're feeding, link maybe?

I purchased the food from http://quickgrownutrients.com/.

warlock it is starting on the next bigger leaves up ever so slightly. I see only like 4 dots brown in color now. I'll post a pic when I get back to my house.

The nutrients you are applying have plenty of calcium & magnesium but because your feeding a 10-5-10 fertilizer (which is not ideal to grow cannabis), your providing an excess amount of K (potassium) which is locking out the plants ability to uptake the calcium and magnesium.

Agree now. Back down to 1/2. Mj dosnt like much more then 3-4-4 in veg.

It's about providing the correct NPK ratio. A 3-4-4 would cause chaos for vegging a cannabis plant. Warlock, don't tell people to use a 3-4-4 for veg, that is bad advice and will hurt his plants, you shouldn't be trying to diagnose people's problems unless you know what you are talking about.

OP,

In the future what you will need to do is begin providing the correct ratio of macro nutrients in order for your plant to uptake and absorb the micros. Like I said before, use something like a 3-1-1, 1-1-1, 3-1-2. If a 1-.5-1 is continued then then the same problems are going to continue.

You know what else causes rust spots, a wacked ph. So what's your ph? Do you have a accurate way to check it?

Yes I have general hydroponics ph kit to check the levels. And it is reading 5.5 or so I know it's not to high I check that every other day or so.

If there using other additives ( most people do) a 3-4-4 is fine for veg. But if using a stand alone I use maxigro and that's 10-5-14. But my hydro is 1.24-2.7-5.8 plus additives. So how am I going to kill the plants? I was giving basic info without knowing what all is used. Wrong my ass I've Tryed so many different ways. Just found out what worked.

Those drops are not accurate at all compared to a digital meter, I'm betting your ph is out. I used to use those until I got a real meter and never looked back.

The thing with those drops is they go off color if you are adding colored nutes to the water before taking a sample it's giving you a false reading believe me been there.

A digi meter is best but drops are a great fall back. Just dont live on them. Use drops before you ad to much up/down. Your meter might be off. But yes if you res is realy brown when adding mix can't use drops. I'm almost clear so I can.

My res also is pretty clearalso. But looks like I'll need to invest in a dig meter here real soon. And some different nutes.
