Indoor Sativa?????

  • Is there any way to grow a Sativa indoors? I know the strain grows tall, but is any way I could just change its lighting schedule when it reaches a certain height, so it can flower? Will it continue to grow in height throughout the flowering stage?​

I grow them. Top multiple times, then let them stretch a bit. Then either braid them or simply bundle them up with parachute cord and lay her over. I can fit 4 big sativas under a 1000 watt HPS and still have a space for a couple smaller plants.

Yes, you can change lighting to flower when the plant reaches around 1/3 to 1/2 of where you want it to be. plants can double or triple in size when they flower. Height growth slows during flowering after the initial spurt, then the plant fills out. If you are limited on space, setting your lights at 12/12 from seed may work, the plant will flower once it is mature enough.
