there is so much pollution and waste in the world what are things you do daily to help it out? anything you do to reduce your consumption and waste. there is always ways to learn how to live more efficient and sustainable.
right now i am using worms to compost some of my food scraps. i wash dishes in two buckets with biodegradeable soap, i want to water plants with the water after i use it but i have read that watering potted plant will kill the plants. if anyone could clear this up for me that would be great! a nother way to save water is put a jar in your toilet tank to each flush uses less water. now lets hear yours!!

I pick up deer that are hit by cars and compost them into fertilizer.
that seems like some hard work for compost. but i bet you get alot of it cause that is a big animal.

i forgot to mention i also have alot of plants on the porch. i am going to also start taking cutting of my pothos plants and place them all over the house for a greener more lively house.

It is, but it's what I do for a living. My compost piles are huge.
that is cool using the earth as your job. in the future i would love to do the same but with a garden and like farmers market or something and teaching people to grow their own food and be more sustainable.

for every part of the land you own the yard should have 50% in tall tree foliage at least. the world needs to wake up and realize we have destroyed way to many trees than needed. we need to replant these trees on a mass scale. nature will take to long to replace what should still be standing.

if you don't recycle what good is the cause. and the dont drive concept just means someone who doesnt care about the environment will be driving. if you like plants drive and replant everywhere. im just realizing this at 24. im getting a car.

recycling is a waste of resources and pollutes all in its own, think of all the carbon emissions from the recycling trucks, or the methods they use to recycle. we should just stick with consuming less in the first place.

The way I recycle is good, you must be doing it wrong.

i use an ashtray and walmart bag for garbage almost ALWAYS. i conserve natural resources when i can (water, gas, electric, etc). i ALSO try to encourage others to do the same.

In the state I live, they don't clear frequently. And they replant every tree cut. Warehouser does a good job of being Eco freindly, relatively. But amazon deforestation is just fucked up. As far as I know they don't do much replanting of native species down there.
