to be honest i thought the majority of people living in cannabis friendly countries wouldn't be looking at this thread, so i posted it generally once more, should i not have? should i remove it? i was just trying to spread the information as i thoroughly enjoyed the programme not peeve anyone off.watching it now, pretty good but why post this twice in two different areas ?!
Thc IS just a uv block. Please dont try to tell me it helps "catch pollen" or some shit. The plant stricktly evolved thc trichomes to prtoect itself from uvb ligh, high in the mountain ranges where cannabis originated. And it does not require UVB light in order to be produced in the plants. That is where your misconception starts. But you were correct in the second paragraph. And illustrates my point even farther, thc degrades into CBD in light, specifically Uv light. More UVB light during the grow would just degrade the thc faster, thus HIDs are the best we have.ill say this i watched it and they where incorrect about some things but had some good theories that would blend well with the actual science.
just to point out it say thc is developed to block UV, but it does much much more than that or it would not develop on plant with HID lighting which has little to no UVB.
another point is the conversion on cannabinoids and "asking growers to grow cannabis with more CBD" cbd is a byproduct of THC the key would be to age the plant to the point where it is more CBD CBN than thc. not grow plants with low potency and more cannabinoids as far as a ratio this is an appeasement to pharmaceutical company's and governments, when in reality only the highgrade strains are of any medical value and they know this.
dont know if i follow it all like that seems likes some misinformation....
